The ION SUP Race Core Coiled Leash with Hip Belt is a must have for some (particularly when paddleboard racing and wingsurfing) and choice for others. Waist leashes are dramatically growing in popularity among paddlers as they are not only comfortable to wear but they also keep your legs and the deck of the paddleboard free as you walk up and down it it. They are also growing in popularity for surfing as many paddlers prefer to pulled from the waist as opposed to the jarring which can come from a heavier SUP on either an ankle or calf leash.
There are also the safety benefits of a waist leash. While this leash is attached to the velcro hip belt by a sprung stainless steel clip, the entire leash is simply released by undoing the waist leash if required. It is also easily reattached as you just put the hip belt back on.

Very comfortable
Exactly what I was looking for. Need a waist leash for a SUP event on the Thames and this fitted the bill. Very comfortable to wear, easy to take on and off yet secure enough incase I fall in. Also importantly always to hand should I need to release quickly.
