Red Paddle Co 2019
ed Paddle Co 2019 range has been launched, with the release of the new Red Paddle Co brochure at Red Paddle Co’s website.
We are thrilled to the see the return of their best-selling Ride models, including the superb class leading 2019 Red Paddle Co 10’6 Ride as well as the smaller 9’8 Ride and family favourite 10’8 Ride. These three paddleboards are really bench marks by which all other inflatable SUP’s are measured by. It is also really pleasing to see that due to its popularity, the Special Edition colourway; the Red Paddle Co 10’6 Ride SE – returns in the 2019 range.
Also featured in the 2019 Red Paddle Co brochure is the brand new Red Paddle Co Compact 9’6. With the introduction of their new PACT Technology, this unique inflatable paddleboard has no equal in the market and offers unrivaled portability without compromising on water performance.
The biggest changes for 2019 in the Red Paddle Co range are to the paddles. The new model year see’s the introduction of a number of new models and the reduction of some of the paddle blade sizes. There is still the very popular entry level Red Paddle Co Alloy 3 piece paddle and favorites such as the Carbon 100 but we know have the choice of different levels of carbon grade paddles to choose from. This means that regardless of budget and type of paddling, you can now find a paddle that works for you. For 2019, we particularly like the look of the Carbon 50 Nylon 3 piece paddle as it combines a lightweight carbon shaft with a durable nylon blade – making it perfect for family use.
As Stand Up Paddleboarding continues to grow in popularity, so does the interest in longer waterline length, more touring focused SUP’s. The line from Red Paddle Co in 2019 is a strong as ever, with the popular Sport range featuring the 11 Sport, 11’3 Sport and 12’6 Sport. All of these are exceptionally efficient inflatable’s, with the 12’6 Sport offering a great introduction to racing while remaining a well-mannered cruiser.
If cruising and covering as much distance with the greatest ease is your thing, then the Voyager 12’6 and Voyager 13’2 from Red Paddle Co have to be on your short list. The load carrying capacity and stability of the 12’6 Voyager is truly fantastic but if you are looking for a real machine with which to dispatch mile after mile, then the 13’2 Voyager stands alone in the market as the go to inflatable paddleboard.
Stand Up Paddle board racing is always growing and Red Paddle Co are one of the few companies that truly offer innovative solutions to making their paddleboards as fast as can be. Since the introduction of the Forward Flex Control (FFC) system last year, there has not been much in the way of competition that can catch any of the Red Paddle Co Elite race boards. The 2019 12’6 x 28 and 14’0 x 27 – make exceptionally capable touring boards but are equally at home on the race course. While the 12’6 x 26 and needle like 14’0 x 25 really stand out and we are sure will feature heavily on top of podiums in 2019.
Lastly are the 2019 Red Paddle Co models which have smaller audiences but equally big appeal as the rest of the range. Windsurfing has long been at the heart of Red Paddle Co and the 10’7 WindSUP is a great crossover paddleboard and windsurf combination. While the 2019 Windsurf 10’7 is a superbly stable windsurfer that drives upwind with ease, making it a really rewarding paddleboard to sail.
2019 for Red Paddle Co looks as bright as ever and we are positive that they will continue to be very popular indeed. You can find out for yourself just how good Red Paddle Co paddleboards are by booking your demo at our Red Paddle Co Test Centre.
