Situated on the mile long Calshot Spit in a former Royal Navy Aircraft Hanger called Schneider Hanger, The SUP Company X Calshot Test Centre is a stone’s throw from the water’s edge. Unique for the South coast of the UK, Calshot Spit benefits from a tidal lagoon on its northern side on Southampton Water, while the Southern side of the Spit offers immediate access out into the Solent with it skate park like bumps and jumps. This means that in almost all wind conditions you can get on the water at Calshot for a demo session. Instore you will find the largest range of wingsurfing, foiling to test and demo anywhere in the UK with expert advice and guidance on hand by qualified instructors. The SUP Company X Calshot Test Centre works by offering one hour slots which you can book Wednesday to Sunday 10:00 – 17:00hrs (last booking is 16:00hrs).
During your time you can try up any number of foils, wings, or boards.
We do make a small charge for use of test centre equipment of £50 per person / per hour (payable on arrival for your booking), however the first two hours are 100% refundable should you go on to purchase the set up tested from ourselves.
