The Aero Glide range is bolstering our portfolio with efficient, high-aspect designs, providing excellent glide, downwind prowess, pumping capabilities, and surprisingly lively maneuverability. As the name implies, our Aero Glide is built to glide for substantial distances effortlessly. We unveiled our four smaller sizes (from 725's fleetness and agility to 1305's spaciousness) in spring 2023, sparking remarkable enthusiasm for their mix of accessible glide performance, control, and maneuverability. All these wings have an aspect ratio of approximately 9.5. Emphasizing efficiency, velocity, and low drag, these wings require a more engaged riding style that suits intermediate to advanced riders. The Aero Glide wings, once airborne, are very easy to fly due to their predictable behavior.
For 2024 Duotone has increased the Aero Glide family to include two larger siblings. The 1595, measuring 130cm wide and having an AR of 10.6, is perfect for those starting out with downwinders. It has the same fast, low drag profile as the smaller Glide wings, allowing for light wind winging and pumping. The 2145 is more suited to dock-starters, with its thicker profile and low stall speed for easy dock starts and pumping in flatwater. Complementing all Glide wings are our Stabilizer P in sizes 165, 180, 200, and the new 220. Stabilizer P
The P Stabilizers are optimized for use with our Carve 2.0 and Glide ranges, featuring a higher aspect ratio to reduce drag and weight while retaining precision control. Available in four sizes (165/180/200/220), these stabs are almost flat, without the winglets of our C Stabilizers, for a looser, more exciting ride. For further customization, take advantage of our thin shims for +/- 0.3 degree angle of attack adjustments.
