The Fanatic Aero Glide is the most efficient high aspect foil from Fanatic. Designed from the outset to huge amounts of seemingly endless glide, whether downwinding or pump foiling, the Aero Glide front wing remains lively and fun with manoeuvrability you would not readily expect from wings with such large spans.
Available in four sizes; the Fanatic Aero Glide is at its most fast and agile in the smallest size 725, while the largest 1305 wing span front wing enables you to pump, link bumps and turn the smallest swell and lightest breeze into flight.
Wing Covers are included with each foil size range.
Each section of the Aero Glide front wing has been refined in profile, thickness and construction over its entire wing span. Such large wing spans require increased rigidity and strength in the centre to ensure that rider inputs and feedback remain direct and true. A foil wings getting larger in span you run the risk of dumbing down the experience, so Fanatic have designed a gradual twist towards the wing tips. This ensures the Aero Glide offers instant response, yet rewards with a surprisingly loose and responsive feel.
A high aspect ratio of 9.5 features across the Aero Glide range to maximise speed and low drag, these front foil wings are best suited to a more active riding style that suits intermediate to advanced foilers. Although, once in flight, the Aero Glide delivers a very intuitive and predictable ride that allows for relatively easy progression.
To compliment the new Fanatic Aero Glide front wings, Fanatic have also introduced a new series of high performance rear stabilisers; the GL stabilizer in 165, 180 and 200. With a flatter overall wing shape and no wing tips, the GL rear stabs help ensure that the larger spans of the Aero Glide’s remain reactive and loose to rider inputs.
