The 2023 Fanatic Bee is the all-new 4-in-1 paddleboard from Fanatic and is shaped by Sky Solbach (Fanatic’s designer behind the hugely successful Sky Wing and Sky Foil designs). Fanatic have packed four different dimensions of pure fun into one board: SUP Surfing, SUP Foiling, Wing Foiling and Windsurf Foiling – you decide on the setup you ride. Foiling has brought a new dimension into watersports and adds multiple options for having fun in marginal conditions. Problem is – you can’t do everything. Or can you?
The Bee combines three foiling disciplines and adds regular SUP surfing as a bonus. If you’re into SUP surfing and think about adding foiling to your repertoire, the Bee is made for you! If it’s shallow you plug fins in, if you find long rolling swell you mount your foil and start to fly. If the wind picks up, you either use a wing or a windsurfing sail as your engine for endless flight time. The options are vast and the feedback from our testers is brilliant – throughout all disciplines! Our favourite Bee 7'8" is now also available in 8'2" for heavier riders and foiling newcomers.
The Fanatic Bee at 7’8 overall and 30.75” wide is built to excel in four different watersports; SUP surf, SUP foil, Wing foiling and windsurf foiling thanks to the mast track as well as a foot strap insert mounted in the deck. This board is really one board for them all.
The overall swing weight is kept to a minimum especially with the 7'8" side while the width is maintained further forwards making light work of take off’s and touchdowns. It also helps a lot when SUP surfing and dramatically increases stability in what is a relative short-board. The Fanatic Bee is both lightweight and strong as it is produced in Fanatic’s Vectornet VCT technology.
The fin boxes on the Bee 7’8 / 8'2" feature an FCS thruster fin set up that comes with three 5” RTM fins as well as twin US fin box tracks for maintaining any top plate foil system like the Fanatic Aero or High Aspect Foil setups
