The O’Brien Rio is a high volume and stable SUP at a very competitive price. Its high volume means that the Rio SUP comfortably accommodates paddlers up to 380lbs without issue while making it perfect for packing down with a load of kit for the whole day. Although being a very accessible board due to its high volume, the 11ft length and overall shape helps to improve overall glide compared to similar entry-level paddleboards of its range. Provided with a variety of valuable features such as a comfortable centre carry handle, rear D-ring to anchor or tie off your board as well as a comfortable die-cut EVA deck pad that’s incredibly grippy.
