The Red Paddle Co 14'0 x 27" Elite is simply one of the fastest and most stable performance inflatable paddleboards available to buy. As race-focused SUP, the 2023 14 x 27” Elite needs to be stiff and thanks to the patented Forward Flex Control (FFC) system and Rigid Stiffening System (RSS) it is one of the stiffest paddleboards in the world. We are excited to see the return of this very popular race board to the Red Paddle Co range.
At 14' long and 27" wide, the Red Paddle Co 14'0 x 27 Elite has been shaped to cut through the water for paddlers of up to 120kg, maximising it's long waterline length while remaining stable for you to maximise each paddle stroke. The Red Paddle Co 14'0 Elite rides high at 150mm thick, reducing drag, while a nose runner fin keeps the paddleboard tracking straight without creating drag, a combination that lies at the heart of what makes this board so fast and so easy to control in race conditions. It's also a great downwind board - it picks up swell with ease, glides beautifully and has a predictable nature which makes it rewarding to ride. All this in a paddleboard you can deflate, pack away and carry home in a backpack. The Red Paddle Co 14'0 Elite is a winner on so many levels!
Much of the Red Paddle Co 14'0 Elite's performance lies in its design. With a paddleboard thickness of 5.9" the Red Paddle Co 14.0 Elite was always going to be stiff but add in the Red Paddle Co Forward Flex Control (FFC) and Rigid Stiffening System (RSS) Batten System and you have an inflatable SUP that is 40% stiffer than the competition. That said, we have used the Red Paddle Co 14.0 Elite without the RSS Batten System and were shocked at how stiff this SUP is without them. At 20PSI this is one rigid paddleboard!
All Red Paddle Co models use Red Paddle Co ATB Transformer Board Bag; the totally redesigned all terrain wheeled backpack that features their bagless carry system. This two-part bag system means you can access more remote waterways without the need for a bulky bag and just take your paddle and pump.
