Tip: If you’re right on the top end of a guide weight, the board will still float you — you’ll just get more stability (and a nicer glide) by sizing up.

9'8" x 32" – who is it best for?
Best for lighter paddlers and smaller adults who want a nimble, easy all-round board for casual paddles and the odd bit of fun in small conditions.
10'4" x 33" – the “one board” choice
This is the most popular size for good reason: stable, predictable and versatile. If you want one board for rivers, lakes, family trips and easy coastal days, this is normally the starting point.
10'8" x 34" – max stability for bigger paddlers / families
The widest option with loads of volume. Great if you’re a larger paddler, want extra stability, or you’ll be using it as a family board (occasional tandem use, kids on the nose, dog on board etc.).

Yes — it’s one of the easiest ways into paddleboarding. The width gives you that “stable platform” feel, and the all-round shape is forgiving while you build balance and technique.
Can I use it on the sea?
Absolutely — just pick calm days while you’re learning, use a leash, and size up if you want extra stability. For longer coastal touring where glide matters most, consider the touring-shaped Ray Air Pure.
Does it come with a paddle?

How do I choose between 10'4 and 10'8?
Go 10'4 for the best all-round balance of stability and handling. Go 10'8 if you want maximum stability, you’re a bigger paddler, or you’re planning more family use (kids/dog onboard).
Is the fin removable?
Yes — it uses a US box with a removable centre fin, which is handy for transport and storage and helps the board track nicely on the water.
What’s the best upgrade to make it feel better?
A lighter, stiffer paddle is the biggest “feel” upgrade. If you plan to paddle regularly, upgrading your paddle will make each stroke smoother, more efficient and less tiring.
