Customer service has always been central to what we do at The SUP Company. Great advice and the right equipment matter, but they only count if we can get your order to you safely, efficiently and with the right level of support along the way.

Dispatch Times
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 14:00 are often dispatched the same day unless a next day service has been selected. Orders placed after 14:00 are dispatched on the next working day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and UK Bank Holidays are dispatched on the following working day.
Composite Boards
All composite boards are collected and dispatched on Fridays. Orders placed between Monday and Wednesday are dispatched on Friday of the same week. Orders placed after Wednesday are dispatched on the following Friday.
Transit Times
Our standard Mainland UK service usually takes 4 to 5 working days. We also offer Next Day and Saturday services on eligible items. Composite boards are shipped on a 4 to 5 working day service, with Wednesday often being the most likely delivery day following Friday dispatch.
Timed and Saturday Delivery
We offer Mainland UK next day, timed delivery before 12:00, timed delivery before 10:30 and Saturday delivery on eligible items. Please note that timed services are not available for composite or solid paddleboards due to their size.
Highlands, Islands & Offshore UKThis section covers deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and Scilly Isles, including Alderney, Sark, Guernsey and Jersey.

Channel Islands and VAT
If you live in the Channel Islands, our website should recognise your browsing location and display pricing accordingly. For example, a customer browsing from Jersey using a Jersey IP address should normally see pricing exclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
Dispatch Times
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 13:00 are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 13:00 are dispatched on the next working day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and UK Bank Holidays are dispatched on the following working day.
Transit Times
Most orders, excluding composite boards, fixed length paddles and windsurf rigs, are sent on a 2 day delivery service. Larger and more fragile items usually take between 3 and 7 days, although we will always aim for quicker.
Composite Boards
All composite boards are collected and dispatched on Fridays. Orders placed between Monday and Wednesday are dispatched on Friday of the same week. Orders placed after Wednesday are dispatched on the following Friday.
Extra charges and important notes
Please check your local import policy and budget for any import taxes, duties or customs charges that may apply in your destination. These charges are outside our control and, where due, are usually collected by your local customs authority or delivery partner.
If an order is dispatched and then rejected by the customer, any refund will be less the original shipping cost, return shipping cost and any associated charges.
Saturday delivery may be possible in some locations, but additional charges are likely to apply. Please contact us before ordering if this is important to you.

EuropeOrdering from Europe
Orders shipped to Europe are supplied exclusive of UK VAT where applicable. However, your local VAT, import duty, customs clearance fees or handling charges are payable before delivery, as soon as your package has arrived in your destination country.
Once the parcel is with customs - the delivery company will contact you to pay the import taxes. Once paid - they will release the goods and complete delivery to your final address.
A simpler guide for European customers
- Your order is shown exclusive of UK VAT.
- Your country may charge local VAT, customs duties or handling fees.
- Oversized items such as solid SUPs and products over 1 metre require a bespoke quote.
- If duties or taxes are refused and the shipment is returned, return shipping costs and restocking charges may apply.

Tracking

Warranties
Product warranties are unaffected and remain valid in line with the manufacturer’s terms.
Important European order notes
- Please make sure you understand your local import rules before ordering.
- If a package is rejected, or customs duties and taxes are not paid, we reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee to help cover return shipping and associated costs.
- If you are returning an item for a refund, we are unable to refund the shipping charge or any duties and taxes already paid.
Ordering from outside the UK
We are seeing growing demand from customers outside the UK and we are pleased to support that wherever possible. For many international destinations, our website is designed to recognise your browsing location and display pricing accordingly, often exclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
International orders can involve local taxes, import duties, customs handling fees and delivery rules that vary from country to country, so it is important to understand what may be due locally before delivery.
International orders in four simple points
- If you are outside the UK, pricing may be displayed exclusive of UK VAT where applicable.
- If you are outside the UK but shipping to a UK address, UK VAT will still apply.
- Your country may charge local taxes, import duty, customs clearance fees or handling charges before delivery.
- Oversized items such as composite boards, fixed length paddles, 2-piece paddles and windsurf rigs usually require a manual shipping quote.

Dispatch Times
Orders placed Monday to Friday before 15:00 are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 15:00 are dispatched on the next working day. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and UK Bank Holidays are dispatched on the following working day.
Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirming shipment, together with your courier details, consignment number and tracking link.
Important International order notes
- If you are ordering from outside the UK but shipping your order to an address within the UK, your order will still be subject to UK VAT.
- Please check your local import policy carefully and budget for any taxes, duties or customs charges that may apply.
- If a package is rejected, or customs duties and tax fees are not paid, we reserve the right to apply a 25% restocking fee to help cover return shipping and associated costs.
- If you are returning an item for a refund, we are unable to refund either the shipping charge or any duties and taxes already paid.
- At present, we are unable to amend the delivery address on an existing order once it has been placed outside the UK. If the address needs to change, we may need to cancel and refund the order so that it can be placed again correctly.
How your order is tracked
At the time of dispatch, you will be notified by email that your order is on its way. Where applicable, tracking details will also be supplied by the courier carrying your order.
- Small items: often sent with Royal Mail and usually require a signature on delivery.
- Next day, timed and Saturday services: usually sent with DPD Local, who normally provide updates by SMS and/or email along with a delivery window where available.
- Large and specialist items: composite boards and certain oversized products may be sent with DX Freight or another specialist carrier. Timed delivery windows are not always available for these services.
- Other larger items: larger parcels such as adjustable and 3-piece paddles, as well as inflatable boards, may be sent with a dedicated courier service depending on parcel size and destination.
Please inspect your delivery carefully
We ask that you inspect the packaging before signing for your delivery. If there is the slightest indication of damage, please sign for the parcel and clearly write Damaged.
If the courier refuses to allow this, please inspect the goods before signing wherever possible. If you cannot fully inspect the goods, please still sign as Damaged and contact us immediately on 02380 172189 or help@thesupco.com.
Please remember that it is your responsibility to inspect and confirm that the goods are in perfect condition before signing. If goods are damaged and not signed for accordingly, we may be unable to accept liability and the item may not be replaced or reimbursed.
Important final terms
- The SUP Company reserves the right to amend orders placed with an incorrect delivery option without notice.
- The SUP Company reserves the right to refuse any order and will advise the customer within a reasonable timeframe.
- We do not accept responsibility for delays caused by customs checks, security checks or adverse weather conditions.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error is ours.
- If an item is out of stock, a member of our customer service team will contact you as soon as possible.
