Description
Description
The Red Paddle Co 11'3 Sport - Future Series is one of the smartest step-up inflatable paddleboards in the Red range. It is aimed at paddlers who have enjoyed the reassurance of an all-round board but now want more glide, better straight-line speed and a more efficient feel on longer paddles without suddenly jumping onto something narrow or twitchy.
If you mainly paddle rivers, harbours, estuaries, lakes or mixed coastal water and want a board that feels quicker and more purposeful than a classic all-rounder, this is exactly where the 11'3 Sport comes into its own. It gives you that “I’m covering more water with less effort” feeling, while still keeping enough width and stability to feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than demanding.
Where the 11'3 Sport sits in the Red Paddle Co range
This board sits neatly between the easy-going Red Paddle Co 10'6 Ride and the more distance-focused Red Paddle Co 14'0 Voyager - Future Series. If the Ride is the dependable all-round starting point, the 11'3 Sport is the natural next board when you want more glide and a more touring-oriented feel. If you want even more straight-line pace, carrying capacity and distance bias, that is where the Red Paddle Co 12'6 Sport - Future Series starts to make more sense.
For many paddlers, the 11'3 Sport is the sweet spot. It is long enough to feel noticeably faster than an all-round board, but still manoeuvrable, confidence-inspiring and versatile enough for varied UK paddling.
Why choose the Red Paddle Co 11'3 Sport?
- Noticeably more glide than a typical all-round inflatable SUP
- Stable 32" width makes it a very approachable step-up board
- Excellent for touring, fitness paddling and longer recreational sessions
- Low-profile 4.7" thickness gives a more connected feel on the water
- Handles mixed conditions well, including choppy coastal water
- Premium Red Paddle Co construction and finish throughout
- Easy to travel with, store and transport compared with a hard board

Is the 11'3 Sport stable enough if I am moving on from an all-round board?
Yes. That is exactly why this board is so popular. It gives you a clear jump in glide and efficiency, but its 32" width keeps it reassuring and accessible. It feels quicker and more purposeful than an all-rounder, not intimidating.
Who should choose the 11'3 Sport instead of the 10'6 Ride?
Choose the 11'3 Sport if you already know you enjoy paddleboarding and want to cover more distance with less effort. If your priority is simple family use, first-time confidence or general messing about, the 10'6 Ride is still the easier starting point.
Should I choose the 11'3 Sport or the 12'6 Sport?
The 11'3 Sport is the better choice if you want a board that still feels versatile and easy to manage. The 12'6 Sport is the better choice if your paddling is becoming more distance-focused and you want even more glide and tracking. If in doubt, the 11'3 is often the safer and more forgiving step up.
Is the 11'3 Sport suitable for the sea?
Yes. It works very well for general coastal paddling, estuaries and mixed water conditions. It is quicker and cleaner through small chop than a classic all-round board, while still having enough width to feel settled underfoot.
Does it come with a paddle?
No. This package includes the board and core accessories, but not a paddle. If you want to complete the setup properly, we would strongly recommend looking at the Red Paddle Co paddle guide before choosing your paddle.
Can I try the 11'3 Sport before buying?
Yes. We offer on-water demo opportunities through our SUP Test Centre, which is the best way to compare boards properly and make sure you are buying the right size and shape for your paddling.
