The Tahe Tobago Kayak 2 Person is a proper family sit-on-top for paddlers who want more than a quick splash about close to shore. It is designed for two adults, with space for a child on the central seat, and it brings together reassuring stability, useful carrying capacity and noticeably better glide than shorter, more basic tandem kayaks.

Yes. That is exactly what it is designed for. The Tobago is a genuine tandem sit-on-top with the length, width and carrying capacity to work well with two adults aboard, rather than feeling like a compromise.

Can a child come along as well?

Yes. The central seat position is designed for that purpose, which is one of the reasons the Tobago works so well for family use. It also doubles as a practical place for kit when you are paddling as a pair.

Is the Tobago a good choice for beginners?
