The Red Paddle Co 11ft Compact is here! Following the huge success of the ground breaking 9’6” Compact, Red Paddle Co have applied their innovative PACT Technology and created the most portable touring inflatable paddleboard in the world.
As a designer and manufacturer of only inflatable SUP’s, Red Paddle Co’s core value is to do so without compromising performance. Waterline length and rigidity is key to performance and overall glide. Red Paddle Co understand this and it is clear to see in the new 11ft Compact with its purposeful touring outline influenced by the proven lines of their Sport range.
What sets the Compact paddle boards apart from the rest of the Red Paddle Co range is the use of a new weaving process that creates an extra high tensile thread matrix at the core of this board that is combined with an extremely durable yet malleable outer layer. The Compact design is bolstered further still by a tensile quad stringer system that is perfectly placed under the riders main foot placement when paddling. Once at 20PSI the result is quite simply one of, if not the most, stiffest inflatable paddleboard available and yet also one of the lightest with the 11 foot Compact weighing a mere 9.1 kg.
The innovation for the Compact though doesn’t stop at the SUP. A paddleboard that packs as small as the Red Paddle Co Compact needs a specialist board bag so you can take advantage of its portability. The result was the development of the Red Paddle Co Hi-Denier Compact board bag which measures just 560mm high! Incredibly comfy and durable this new board bag is almost as sensational as the Compact 11ft touring board itself – best of all this bag also houses the famous Red Paddle Co Titan Pump. With such a great pump you know you are going to be getting on the water as fast as possible.
Such a small portable package also meant Red Paddle Co had to revisit the drawing board to produced a paddle that would fit with in the bag when packed and yet perform on the water. So the unique 5 piece Carbon Nylon paddle was built. Taking their proven carbon nylon paddle blade, Red Paddle Co used it as the basis for the light weight adjustable design.
