The UKWA One Hour Classic Challenge at Calshot
Ready to put your windsurf or wingsurf skills to the test? The SUP Co x Calshot is proud to play host to the Duotone x The SUP Co One Hour Classic on 14th & 15th June 2025, an exciting weekend of racing, fun and camaraderie in one of the UK’s most iconic watersports locations.
Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or new to the start line, the One Hour Classic is your opportunity to experience an exhilarating challenge against the clock, in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Run in partnership with Duotone and the UK Windsurfing Association (UKWA), this event is all about community, performance and having a blast on the water.
What is the One Hour Classic?
Simple in format but big on energy, the One Hour Classic sees riders complete as many laps of the course as possible in one hour. It’s a true test of strategy, endurance, and board speed. And with racing open to both windsurfers and wingsurfers, it’s a unique chance to share the water and push yourself in good company.
Calshot Spit is a legendary location on the South Coast, renowned for its wind reliability and flat-water racing potential – ideal for this kind of timed format. And as one of the very few places that works brilliantly in a northerly breeze, it’s the perfect setting for this early summer spectacle.

Saturday Night Social – Pizza & Drinks
On Saturday night, The SUP Co x Calshot in Schneider Hangar will transform into a social hub, hosting a pizza and drinks reception for all competitors, proudly sponsored by The SUP Co and Duotone. It’s the perfect way to unwind, catch up with fellow riders, and soak in the buzzing atmosphere (right next to the camping area).
Registration & Race Briefing
All competitor registration and race briefings will take place in Schneider Hangar, the impressive new home of The SUP Co x Calshot. This unique space right next to the waterfront is also where you can relax and socialise after racing.
Duotone Demo Weekend
Running alongside the One Hour Classic, we’re also excited to host the Duotone Demo Weekend at The SUP Co x Calshot. This is your chance to try out the latest Duotone windsurf and wing gear on the water, chat directly with the experts, and get a feel for the performance of 2025’s most exciting equipment. This event is all about inclusive competition. With dedicated support for first-timers, the One Hour Classic is perfect for those looking to dip their toe into racing or simply test their skills in a friendly, structured format. You’ll race alongside some of the UK’s most passionate wind and wing riders, share stories on the beach, and enjoy a buzzing, festival-style vibe across the weekend.
And yes, there are prizes! While podium spots are up for grabs based on results, we’ll also be awarding some fun and alternative prizes too:
