We’re incredibly excited to announce that The SUP Company is once again partnering with Hayling Island Sailing Club (HISC) as the proud title sponsor for the 2025 HISC x theSUPco.com Round Hayling Challenge. Marking our seventh time supporting this renowned event, we’re looking forward to welcoming competitors from across the UK and beyond for what promises to be an unforgettable day on the water.
Scheduled for Saturday, 6th September 2025, this event offers something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned competitor or looking to tackle your first watersports challenge. Participants have the choice of two distinctive routes:
- Round Hayling Island Course: A full 14-mile anti-clockwise circumnavigation of the stunning Hayling Island. Competitors will pass through two gates, navigating the waters of Chichester and Langstone Harbours, and the open sea of Hayling Bay, before finishing back at HISC.
- Red Paddle Co Bridge & Back Course: Ideal for those seeking a shorter (9 mile course) yet equally rewarding challenge. Starting from HISC, participants head north to a turning point near Hayling Bridge, then return to HISC to finish.
Compete and Celebrate
Participants across disciplines—including Stand Up Paddleboarding, Windsurfing, Wingfoiling, Kayaking, Canoeing, Rowing, and Ocean Canoeing—will vie for fantastic prizes, trophies, and the honour of becoming a Round Hayling Champion. Highlights include:
- Duotone Cup: Awarded to the top windsurfers and wingfoilers.
- Starboard Trophy: Dedicated to the stand-up paddleboard category.
All competitors will enjoy a celebratory atmosphere with an event t-shirt, medal, and post-event meal included in the entry fee. It’s a perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, meet like-minded watersports enthusiasts, and soak up the unique community spirit at Hayling Island Sailing Club—arguably the finest sailing venue in the UK.
