The Code Foils Ultra High Modulus Plus Mast is the stiffest mast option in the Code Foils range, built for riders who want the most direct, connected and efficient feel from their foil setup.

This is not the mast every rider needs, and that is exactly why it matters. The standard Code Foils High Modulus Mast is already a very strong choice for most foilers. The Ultra High Modulus Plus Mast is the upgrade for heavier riders, powerful pumpers, high-speed wing foilers, downwind riders and anyone using larger-span Code front wings who wants the foil to feel more locked-in under load.

Using a full ultra-high-modulus carbon layup, the Plus Mast keeps the same proven Code mast profile as the original HM mast but adds a significant jump in stiffness. In simple terms, that means less unwanted twist, less bend, cleaner feedback through your feet and a more immediate connection between board, mast and foil.

Choose the Code Foils High Modulus Mast if you want a premium carbon mast with excellent stiffness, lower cost and a slightly more accessible feel for general wing, surf and SUP foiling.

Choose the Code Foils Ultra High Modulus Plus Mast if you want the stiffest non-powered Code mast for maximum control, especially when riding faster, harder, heavier or on larger front wings.

Choose the UHM Plus Mast if you are a heavier rider, a powerful pumper, an advanced wing foiler, a downwind rider, or someone using larger Code front wings who wants the foil to feel more locked-in under load. It is designed for riders who will genuinely feel the benefit of extra stiffness.

Is the Ultra High Modulus Plus Mast better than the standard High Modulus Mast?

It is stiffer, but that does not automatically make it the better choice for everyone. The standard Code High Modulus Mast is still an excellent choice for most riders. The Plus Mast makes the most sense if you are pushing harder, riding faster, using bigger wings or want the most direct connection possible.

Which length should I choose?

For prone, dock-start, shallow-water and pump-focused use, 75cm is the most compact option. For mixed disciplines, 80cm is the safest one-mast choice. For wing foiling, bigger surf, tow and choppier open-water conditions, 85cm gives more clearance and confidence.

Will this mast fit my existing Code Foils setup?

This mast is designed for the Code Foils system. If you already ride Code front wings, rear wings and fuselage components, it is the natural high-stiffness mast upgrade. If you are mixing brands or using adaptors, contact us first and we will help check compatibility before you order.

Ultra High Modulus Carbon Layup: The Plus Mast uses a stiffer carbon construction than the standard HM mast. On the water, this gives a sharper and more responsive feel, especially when pumping hard, carving at speed or loading up the foil in chop.
41% More Torsional Stiffness: Torsional stiffness is resistance to twisting. A mast that twists less gives a cleaner connection between your feet and the foil, which is especially noticeable when riding wider-span wings or pushing hard through turns.
59% More Flexural Stiffness: Flexural stiffness is resistance to bending. Less bend helps the foil track more accurately, giving a more solid and predictable feel when you are riding fast, pumping, downwinding or applying more pressure through the board.
