Key Features of the Foil Drive MAX Travel Battery
Airline-Friendly Design
The MAX Travel Battery is split into three smaller sections to meet airline regulations for lithium batteries. Two sections are rated at 129.6Wh, and one at 97.2Wh, ensuring compliance with most airline standards. Reassembling the battery is quick and straightforward, thanks to a few simple screws. Once reassembled, it’s ready for use, storage, or charging.
Enhanced Capacity
When fully assembled, the battery delivers a 9Ah capacity or 350Wh, offering a longer runtime compared to the MAX Sport battery. It uses the longer "A" Nose Cone for your Assist MAX due to the additional connectors, making it an excellent choice for extended sessions on the water.
Certified Durability
Like all Gen2 Foil Drive batteries, the MAX Travel Battery is IP68-certified for superior resistance to water and dust, providing peace of mind in challenging environments.
Smart Power Plug Design
The single power plug features larger connectors for the Foil Drive unit and smaller connectors for charging. Included dust caps add extra protection during storage and transport, ensuring your gear remains in pristine condition.
Air Travel Compatibility
Most airlines allow passengers to carry two 100–160Wh batteries, though some may require prior approval. The included travel case and documentation make airport security checks smoother.
