The Forward WIP Waistfoil Harness is a more specialist harness for riders who want stronger load transfer and more support than a simple belt can offer. It is aimed at serious windfoil and foil riders who are spending real time powered up and want a harness that feels efficient rather than bulky. The big appeal here is energy transfer. Forward WIP designed this harness to feel light and agile, but with better structure through the back and hook area so you can settle into powered riding more comfortably.
Where It Sits in the Forward WIP Range
This sits above the simpler Forward WIP Wing Belt 2.0 and Forward WIP WING BELT 3.0 in terms of support and technical intent. It is the option to look at if a belt feels too basic for the way you ride. Choose the Waistfoil Harness if you want a more complete harness solution with better support and tuning. If you just want a clean, simple hook point for freeride winging, one of the wing belts will usually be the easier and cheaper answer.
