Safety and Leash Advice

The Neva includes both a coiled leash and a quick-release waist belt. A coiled leash is ideal for most flatwater paddling because it keeps the leash out of the water and reduces drag. For moving water, tidal rivers or areas with flow, the quick-release waist belt should be used correctly so you can detach yourself quickly if required.
