The Eleveight WS V5 is the kite for riders who care more about drift, turning speed and wave behaviour than maximum boosting performance. If you want a kite that sits where you need it, follows you down the line more naturally and does not feel like it is constantly trying to drag you off the face, the WS is the right tool in the Eleveight range.
It is also a smart crossover choice for foil riders and freeriders who prefer a lighter, looser kite feel. Compared with a more central all-rounder such as the RS V6, the WS V5 is more specialist and more surf-minded from the outset.

The WS V5 is Eleveight's wave / foil / drift-focused option. Choose the RS if you want broader freeride versatility, the XS if you want Big Air, or the FS if your riding leans harder into powered freestyle. Choose the WS if you want a kite that feels more at home in surf and foil scenarios.

Can I use the WS V5 for freeride as well as waves?
Yes. It is more surf-focused than the RS, but it still works well for freeride riders who prefer a lighter, quicker-turning kite with better drift.
Should I buy the WS V5 or the RS V6?
Choose the WS if wave riding, drift and foil crossover use are higher priorities. Choose the RS if you want the more general do-everything freeride kite.
