The Eleveight XS V4 is the kite for riders who want to go higher, stay up longer and ride with a more committed Big Air feel. It is not trying to be the safest middle-of-the-road option in the range. Its job is to deliver lift, hangtime, control and confidence when the wind picks up and your ambitions get bigger.
For riders moving beyond ordinary freeride jumps and into properly powered boosting, the XS starts to make a lot of sense. It gives you that locked-in five-strut stability and more aggressive performance character that help the kite feel dependable when things get serious.
Where it sits in the Eleveight range
If you want the most versatile all-round kite, the RS V6 is still the better call. If you want a more freestyle-driven Open-C feel, look at the FS V5. The XS is the pick for riders whose sessions revolve around bigger boosts, stronger conditions and longer hangtime.

FAQs
Is the XS V4 suitable for intermediate riders?
Yes, if you are already comfortable controlling your kite, edging properly and riding powered. It is more performance-led than the RS, so it suits riders who are deliberately moving towards bigger air rather than simply learning the basics.
Does the XS only work for Big Air?
Big Air is clearly its main brief, but good riders will also enjoy it for powered freeride and looping. It is simply less neutral and less general-purpose than an RS.
