The Jobe River Fin is a short 5 inch centre fin designed for paddlers who regularly use shallow rivers, estuaries, creeks, canals and other places where a standard deeper fin can catch the bottom.

It is a simple, useful upgrade for compatible Jobe inflatable paddleboards, especially if your usual paddling spots include gravel beds, weed, submerged branches, sandbanks or low-tide launch areas. By reducing fin depth, the River Fin helps make shallow-water paddling less frustrating and reduces the chance of grounding your board mid-stroke.

Why Choose the Jobe River Fin?

A standard SUP fin gives better straight-line tracking, but it also sits deeper in the water. That is great on open flat water, but less helpful when you are paddling in rivers or tidal sections where the water depth changes quickly.

The Jobe River Fin gives you more clearance under the board, helping you keep moving when the water gets shallow. It is not designed to be the fastest or straightest-tracking fin in the Jobe range, but it is the more practical choice when avoiding snags and bottom strikes matters more than maximum glide.

Who Is It Not For?

Compatibility

The Jobe River Fin is designed for compatible Jobe inflatable SUPs using Jobe’s click-fin system, including Jobe Premium and Elite inflatable paddleboards.
