The Black Project Hydro Sprint-X Paddle is the sharp, acceleration-focused option in the Black Project race line-up. It is built for paddlers who want instant response off the line, harder take-up in technical racing and a blade feel that rewards high-intensity efforts.
If the Hydro Synergy-X is the smoother long-distance specialist, the Sprint-X is the punchier short-course weapon. That does not mean it is only for elite racers, but it does mean it is best suited to paddlers who actually want a more aggressive, quicker-feeling paddle rather than a soft, easy-going all-rounder.
Where it sits in the Black Project range
The Sprint-X sits at the short-distance end of the Black Project performance paddle family. It is more urgent and acceleration-oriented than the Hydro Synergy-X, and noticeably more specialised than the Hydro Tempo-X.
