Description
Description
The Red Paddle Co 14'0 Elite Future Series is for paddlers who want genuine performance from an inflatable paddleboard. This is not a general-purpose cruiser or a forgiving all-rounder. It is a fast, efficient, purpose-built board designed for fitness paddling, endurance efforts, race training and ambitious paddlers who want to cover water with less drag and more speed.
At The SUP Company, we see the 14'0 Elite as the board for paddlers who have already developed decent balance and now want something that feels sharper, lighter under power and more rewarding with every stroke. It gives you the practicality of an inflatable, but with a far more direct and performance-led feel than a typical touring shape.
Where it sits in the Red Paddle Co range
The 14'0 Elite sits at the faster, more race-focused end of Red’s inflatable range. Compared with the Red Paddle Co 14' Sport Future Series, it is narrower, quicker and more committed in feel. Compared with the Red Paddle Co 14'0 Voyager Future Series, it carries less kit and asks more of your balance, but rewards you with noticeably more speed and cleaner glide. If you want a friendlier long-distance step-up, the Red Paddle Co 12'6 Voyager remains a brilliant all-round touring sweet spot.
Choose the 14'0 Elite if your main goal is going faster. Choose the Sport if you still want more forgiveness. Choose the Voyager if your paddling is more about distance, adventure and carrying gear.
Why choose the Red Paddle Co 14'0 Elite Future Series
- Fast, efficient glide that rewards a strong, tidy paddling technique.
- A narrower, more purposeful shape for fitness paddling and race progression.
- Premium Future Series construction for a lighter, crisper, more responsive feel.
- Outstanding stiffness for an inflatable, helping it feel more planted and efficient under power.
- Packable and travel-friendly, without the transport hassle of a composite race board.
- Ideal for paddlers who want a proper performance board rather than a compromise shape.

FAQs
Is the 14'0 Elite Future Series suitable as a first paddleboard?
Not really. This is a performance board for paddlers who already have reasonable balance and want more speed. If you are newer to the sport or still want lots of reassurance underfoot, a wider touring or all-round shape would make more sense.
What is the difference between the 14'0 Elite and the 14' Sport Future Series?
The Elite is the sharper, faster and more race-oriented board. The 14' Sport Future Series is still quick, but it is the easier board to live with day to day. If outright pace is your goal, choose the Elite. If you want speed with a bit more forgiveness, choose the Sport.
Can I use the 14'0 Elite for touring?
Yes, but think of it as fast, light touring rather than expedition touring. It is brilliant for covering distance efficiently, fitness paddles and long training sessions. If you want to carry more gear or prioritise stability over outright speed, the Voyager range is the better fit.
Does it come with a paddle?
No. The package includes the board and premium accessories, but the paddle is sold separately. That is often the better approach on a board like this, because it lets you choose a lighter, stiffer paddle that matches the performance of the board.
Is it still practical to transport and store?
Yes, and that is one of the biggest attractions of this board. You get race-board style efficiency in a package that still rolls up into a bag for the car, the house or travel. For many paddlers, that practicality is exactly why an inflatable performance board makes so much sense.
Can I try one before buying?
Yes. The best way to decide whether a fast board is right for you is to feel it on the water. You can book a session at our SUP Test Centre and compare shapes properly before committing.
