As a rough guide, one kit is typically enough for a shortboard or a SUP nose area. Funboards and longboards usually want 2 kits, and longer boards over 8' may want 3. For a full SUP deck, 2 to 3 kits is the normal recommendation.

Can I use this instead of wax?
Yes. That is one of its biggest selling points. It gives temperature-independent traction without melted wax, residue or contamination on the board or in the car.
Will one kit cover a full SUP deck?
No, not usually. RS Pro suggests 2 to 3 kits for a full SUP deck. One kit is more realistic for a shortboard, a SUP nose area or a smaller targeted zone.
What kinds of boards will it stick to?
RS Pro states that it works on epoxy, polyester and soft boards, which gives it a broad spread of real-world use.
