It is a small accessory, but once you start riding powered up or covering longer distances, the right harness line can make a big difference to how relaxed and efficient your riding feels.
This is the standard fixed-length option in ION’s wing harness line range. Choose it if you already know the line length you prefer and want a clean, simple, durable setup. If you would rather fine-tune the length between sessions, the ION Harness Line Wing Vario is the adjustable alternative.
Which Size Should I Choose?
The ION Harness Line Wing is available in two fixed lengths:
- 29.5" / 75cm – the shorter option, generally suited to riders who prefer a more compact, direct feel or use smaller wings.
- 35.5" / 90cm – the longer option, often preferred by riders looking for a more relaxed riding position or using larger wings.
Harness line length is partly personal preference and will depend on your wing, arm length, harness hook position and stance. If you are unsure or want more adjustment, the Vario version is the safer choice.

Do I need a harness line for wing foiling?
You do not need one when you are first learning, but once you are riding for longer, going upwind or spending more time powered up, a harness line can make sessions much more comfortable by taking load out of your arms.
Should I choose the 75cm or 90cm size?
The 75cm size gives a more compact and direct feel, while the 90cm size gives a more relaxed position. Your ideal choice depends on your wing, harness hook position, stance and personal preference. If you are unsure, consider the adjustable ION Harness Line Wing Vario instead.
Is this the same as the ION Harness Line Wing Vario?
No. This is the fixed-length version, available in 75cm and 90cm. The Vario version is adjustable, making it a better choice if you want to fine-tune your setup or are still working out your preferred harness line length.
Will this fit every wing?
