ION Rush Wing Harness Impact Vest

The ION Rush Impact & Harness Vest has been specifically designed for wing foilers. The ION Rush features large neoprene foam filled sections, but it is the hard woven plastic removable panels in the chest and running the length of the spine that set it apart. Impacts on water are never gentle, but with large sharp, pointy foils never far away, this element of hard protection not only gives peace of mind but makes a huge difference should the worst occur.
The Rush wing vest also features additional padding on the tops of the shoulders. This abrasive resistant neoprene, literally takes the edge of carrying your foil mast on your shoulder as you make your way to and from the water.

One of the most striking features of the Rush Impact Vest is that of the harness and hook. At first glance this may look laughably high but in practise it is perfectly placed. While winging see’s less load being placed on the arms than say compared to windsurfing; a harness when winging is a welcome addition, affording you time and making flying one handed a breeze. The placement of the hook also means that it stays clear of your board when mounting it.

Then there is the fit and style of the ION Rush… its just looks great and half the battle is looking good. The fit of the Rush impact vest is a little on the tight side but bear with it, once in the water there is a little bit of give and the level of adjustment in the neoprene belt ensures a secure fit without impeding flexibility.
