Description
The Infinity 5F is a short, high-volume surfboard for surfers who want to keep moving in smaller, softer waves. Its compact outline and extra volume help it carry speed when the surf has less push than a standard shortboard prefers.
Who it suits
The 5F is best considered as a small-wave board for a surfer already comfortable on a shortboard. Infinity suggests choosing it around 6–8 inches shorter than your usual thruster, but rider weight, ability and preferred feel matter more than a fixed rule. If you are still learning to catch waves or need more paddle stability, a longer, more forgiving shape may be a better fit.
Construction and fin options
- InfinFLEX construction: an EPS core with a vacuum-bagged carbon-fibre and PVC hybrid lay-up. Infinity describes this construction as light, durable and tuned to flex.
- Five-fin layout: gives you the option to tune the board for different conditions and turning preferences. Check which fins are supplied with the specific board before ordering.
