The Solite 5mm Custom 2.0 Wetsuit Boots are the colder-water option here for riders who still want proper feel and control rather than a heavy, dead-feeling winter boot. They are built for sessions where warmth matters, but so does staying connected to the board and being able to move naturally once you are riding.
That makes them a strong choice for winter and shoulder-season paddleboarding, wing foiling, surfing, sailing and other watersports where cold feet can cut a session short very quickly. If you want a boot that feels more high-performance than most traditional winter footwear, this is exactly where the Solite appeal comes in.
Where it sits in the Solite range
This is the warmest and most winter-ready of the three Solite options in this export. If you mainly ride in milder conditions, the 2mm Custom Omni or 3mm Custom Omni will feel lighter. Choose the 5mm if staying warmer for longer is the priority.

Are these the right choice for UK winter?
For many riders, yes. If you want a warmer option for cold-water sessions and do not want to compromise too much on feel, this is the best fit of the three Solite models here.
Will they feel bulky?
Less so than many traditional winter boots. The whole Solite idea is to keep the fit and feel more precise, so they stay warmer without feeling overly clumsy.
What is the advantage of the EZ-O cuff?
It is designed to reduce water flushing around the top of the boot while also making them easier to get on and off than some tighter O-ring style openings.
When should I choose these over the 3mm?
Choose the 5mm when warmth matters more than shaving off a bit of thickness and weight. If you ride through winter or dislike cold feet, the 5mm is the safer option.
