The Forward WIP Wing Belt 2.0 is the simple, stripped-back answer for riders who want to start using a wing harness line without the bulk and structure of a full harness vest. It gives you a clean hook-in point around the waist, helps take load off your arms and keeps the overall setup tidy. For a lot of freeride wing foilers, that simplicity is exactly the appeal. You still get support when you want to sheet in and settle, but the belt keeps freedom of movement high and avoids overcomplicating the setup.
Where It Sits in the Forward WIP Range
This sits as the more minimal belt option in the Forward WIP range. It is cleaner and less supportive than the Forward WIP WING BELT 3.0, but that is exactly why many riders will prefer it. Choose the Wing Belt 2.0 if you want a straightforward entry into hooked-in winging. If you want more lumbar structure, more support through the back or extra attachment points, the 3.0 is the stronger upgrade path.
