Description
The Starboard Women’s Long Sleeve Lycra features 50+ UV protection while not compromising on comfort thanks to its ergonomic panel construction and high-quality fabrics. Constructed using 82% recycled Polyester and 18% Spandex that adds extra stretch and comfort.
Starboard use recycled polyester which is polyester fabric harvested from plastic that has been recycled, like single-use water bottles. The process takes sorted and cleaned pellets of the recycled plastic and melt them into new threads, which are then knitted into new fabric. This process is much less energy-intensive and helps to re-use the single-use plastics that have a huge negative impact on the ocean and marine life.
