Description
Description
The Duotone Sky Air 2026 is a travel-friendly inflatable wing foil board designed for easy progression, earlier take-offs and confident handling on the water. It is ideal for riders who want the practicality of an inflatable board without giving up the solid foil connection needed for proper wing foiling progression.
With its slightly longer, stable outline, the Sky Air gives you more glide, better straight-line tracking and a calmer platform while you build speed. That makes it especially useful in real-world UK conditions, where gusty wind and choppy water can make the first stages of wing foiling feel harder than they need to be.
The Sky Air comes in three sizes: 6'2'' / 120L, 6'6'' / 140L and 7'4'' / 205L. The larger 7'4'' size is the most beginner-focused option, offering maximum stability and the option to practise wing handling with side and tail fins before moving fully into foiling.
Where the Sky Air sits in the Duotone range
Choose the Sky Air if you want a board that is easy to store, easy to travel with and reassuring to learn on. It sits as the accessible inflatable freeride and entry-level option in the Duotone foil board range.
- Choose the Sky Air if you want inflatable convenience, stable progression and easy transport.
- Choose the Duotone Skybrid Air 2026 if you want more mid-length glide and earlier lift in lighter winds.
- Choose the Duotone Sky Style 2026 if you are already progressing and want a more compact, reactive hard board feel.
- Choose the Duotone Downwinder Air 2026 if your priority is maximum glide, downwind efficiency and light-wind take-off help.
You can also browse the wider Duotone Wing & Foil collection or view all wing foil boards if you are still comparing options.
Why choose the Duotone Sky Air 2026?
- Easier progression: the stable outline helps you focus on wing handling, board speed and take-off timing rather than simply trying to stay balanced.
- Improved glide: the slightly longer shape helps the board carry speed more smoothly, making take-offs feel less rushed.
- Earlier lift onto foil: better glide and a clean release help you build the speed needed to get flying sooner.
- Better straight-line stability: helpful when learning, especially when you are trying to hold course before take-off.
- Proper foil connection: the extended carbon plate with integrated foil tracks gives a more direct feel underfoot than a basic inflatable platform.
- Travel and storage friendly: the inflatable design, travel bag and multi pump make it easy to pack, transport and store.
- Beginner-friendly 7'4'' option: the biggest size includes side and tail fins, making it a very sensible choice for learning wing control before fully committing to foiling.

FAQs
Which Duotone Sky Air 2026 size should I choose?
The 6'2'' / 120L is the smaller, more manageable option for lighter riders or those with some confidence already. The 6'6'' / 140L adds more float and stability, making it a sensible choice for many progressing riders. The 7'4'' / 205L is the most beginner-friendly size and the best option if you want maximum stability while learning wing handling and board control.
Is the Sky Air a good first wing foil board?
Yes, particularly in the larger sizes. The stable outline, extra glide and inflatable construction make it a very approachable route into wing foiling. For complete beginners, the 7'4'' is the standout size because it gives the most stability and includes fins for practising before foiling.
Can the 7'4'' Sky Air be used without a foil?
Yes. The 7'4'' size includes side fins and mini click fins, so it can be used to practise wing handling, balance and basic upwind control before fitting a foil. That makes it a very useful bridge between learning to handle a wing and learning to fly on foil.
What is the difference between the Sky Air and Skybrid Air?
The Sky Air is the more classic inflatable wing foil board shape: stable, familiar and easy to live with. The Skybrid Air is longer and narrower, giving more glide and earlier take-offs in lighter wind. Choose the Sky Air for accessible progression and stability; choose the Skybrid Air if you want more mid-length efficiency.
Is an inflatable foil board stiff enough?
For most learning and freeride wing foiling, yes. The key is the foil connection. The Sky Air uses an extended carbon plate with integrated foil tracks, which helps give a more direct feel through your feet than a basic inflatable board.
Does the Duotone Sky Air include a foil and wing?
No. This listing is for the board package only. You will still need a wing, foil, board leash and suitable safety kit. If you are building a full setup, browse our Duotone Wing & Foil collection or contact us for help matching the right board, foil and wing to your weight and conditions.
Can I try the Sky Air before buying?
Where demo availability allows, we can help you compare wing foil board sizes through our Lymington Wing & Foil Test Centre. This is especially useful if you are between sizes or unsure whether an inflatable board is the right route for your progression.
