The Waydoo Subnado Handgrip gives you a comfortable one-handed handle on the Subnado, making it feel more like a traditional handheld underwater scooter — ideal for snorkelling, swimming, casual exploring and SUP “have-a-play” sessions.

Waydoo offer a few ways to control and configure Subnado. This handgrip is the most straightforward, no-faff option — great for beginners, travel use, and anyone who just wants to grab it and go.
It’s designed for standard single Subnado setups. If you’re building a twin-engine configuration or running Subnado Plus, this isn’t the right part.

Will this fit Subnado Plus?
No — this handgrip is intended for the standard Subnado system. If you’re running Subnado Plus, you’ll need Plus-specific accessories.
Is this for twin-motor Subnado setups?
No. If you’re building higher-thrust or twin configurations, look at the dedicated mounting parts instead (for example the Subnado Twin Engine Handle Bracket).
Do I need this if I already have a Subnado package?
The Subnado Sea Scooter Package typically includes a handgrip already. This is mainly for replacements, spares, or custom builds where you’re choosing accessories individually.
Is this a good choice for SUP use?
For handheld use off your board (snorkelling, exploring, towing gently in calm water), yes. If you’re aiming for a proper SUP “assist motor” setup, the mounting choice is the important bit — the Subnado buyer’s guide is the best place to start.
Can you help me choose the right Subnado setup?
