The Red Paddle Co 13'2 Voyager is the ultimate inflatable paddleboard for the avid explorer. The 13'2 Voyager is without a doubt the most efficient SUP inflatable for gliding long distances with absolute ease while carrying everything you need for a day out or weekend adventure. Designed to carry loads of in excess of 150kg, the Red Paddle Co 13’2 Voyager is an extremely capable paddleboard and we are thrilled to see it in the Red Paddle Co range.
The Red Paddle Co 13’2 Voyager sees a number of improvements made, the most notable of which is, without doubt, the all-new ‘V hull’ design. Every quality inflatable paddleboard should be aiming to mimic all of the qualities of a composite paddleboard but the one area that could never be matched was the shaping so often found on the underside on a hard paddle board. To achieve this in an inflatable paddleboard we always thought was impossible but Red Paddle Co have achieved it in their 13’2 Voyager and break the mould of convention with their all-new V-hull design. The result of the V hull is improved tracking and better sea keeping as it guides the water flow under and around the Voyagers length.
A further improvement to the board is the addition of a second US fin box. This twin fin set up not only improves stability on and off the water (as the board does not fall over when rested on its fins due to kit being on deck) but also tracking as each of 7” inch long Red Paddle Co Touring fins are toed in slightly towards the centre line, ensuring all paddling effort is focused on paddling forwards. The Red Paddle Co Voyager also now benefits from their 'Speed Tail'; this ABS rail at the tail of the board provides a very clean release from the water increasing overall efficency.
On deck, the 13’2 Voyager benefits from Red Paddle Co’s new one-touch bungee belt system both fore and aft, as well as an extended deck pad. A subtle change to the outboard carry handles in setting them further forwards is also a welcome improvement as you are now able to stand the full width of the board without being restricted by the carry handles.
All Red Paddle Co models use Red Paddle Co ATB Transformer Board Bag; the totally redesigned all terrain wheeled backpack that features their bagless carry system. This two-part bag system means you can access more remote waterways without the need for a bulky bag and just take your paddle and pump.
