Description
Description
If you’re the sort of paddler who plans routes rather than “just a quick potter”, the 14'0 Voyager Future Series is built for you. It’s a proper expedition-style touring inflatable SUP: long waterline for glide, loads of deck space for drybags, and a planted feel that stays composed when conditions get a bit more “real world”.
At The SUP Company, we point customers at the 14'0 Voyager when they want to go further with less effort, carry proper kit (camping, fishing, dog gear, or just a big day-bag), and enjoy that calm, efficient tracking you only get from a longer touring shape.
Where it sits in the Red Paddle Co range
Voyager = touring and exploring. Compared with Red’s all-round Ride shapes, the Voyager family is noticeably more efficient over distance and far better when you’re carrying load.
- Choose the 14'0 Voyager if you prioritise straight-line efficiency, carrying capacity and long-distance comfort.
- Want a touring feel with a bit less length to manage? The 12'6 Voyager is the “do-most-things” touring sweet spot.
- Want more speed/fitness bias? Look at the 14' Sport Future Series.
- Want full race pace? The 14'0 Elite Future Series is the sharper, faster choice.
Why choose the 14'0 Voyager Future Series
- Effortless glide for longer routes – more distance per stroke, less fatigue over time.
- Proper load carrying – front and rear cargo zones keep drybags secure and balanced.
- Confidence when it’s choppy – a touring nose and planted platform that doesn’t feel twitchy.
- Future Series feel – premium build and refinements aimed at speed, stiffness and control.
- Packable expedition tool – inflates when you need it, stores away when you don’t.

FAQs
Is a 14'0 board too big for “normal” paddling?
Not if your goal is distance. A 14-footer rewards good technique with glide and tracking, but it does feel more “purposeful” than an all-round board. If you’re mostly doing short family sessions, a Ride-style shape is usually the better fit. If you’re planning longer routes (especially with kit), 14'0 makes a lot of sense.
What’s the difference between the 14'0 Voyager and the 12'6 Voyager?
The 12'6 is the touring all-rounder: easier to manage on and off the water and brilliant for most day trips. The 14'0 gives you more straight-line efficiency and a higher “expedition” feel, especially when you’re loaded up or paddling longer distances regularly.
Can I use it on the sea?
Yes. It’s designed for touring and feels at home on sheltered coastlines, harbours and open stretches in sensible conditions. As always, match your route to the forecast and your ability, and consider a buoyancy aid and comms for bigger days.
Does it come with a paddle?
This package focuses on the board and the premium accessories (bag, pump, leash, fins and kit). If you need a paddle, we can help you choose a touring-friendly option from our paddle collection.
Which fin set-up should I use?
Start with the included twin touring fins for a very stable, predictable feel (particularly useful in shallower water). If you want maximum tracking for long flatwater routes, you can explore US-compatible fin options to tune the feel for your weight, cadence and loading.
Is it easy to transport and store?
Yes – that’s the big advantage of an inflatable expedition board. It packs down into the bag for car boots, cupboards and travel, and the included pump keeps set-up straightforward at the launch.
