Duotone Open Evening @ The SUP Co x Lymington

Duotone Open Evening @ The SUP Co x Lymington

Tony Jones |

We are really excited to share details of our first Duotone Open Evening at The SUP Co x Lymington — and if you’re into winging, foiling, downwinding, or you’re just curious about what Duotone are cooking up next, this one’s for you.

We’ll be joined by Nik Baker (Duotone UK) and Cyril Coste, the designer behind the new Duotone Electric Foil Assist. You’ll get a proper inside look at how it works, what inspired it, and what it actually changes on the water — straight from the person who built it.

📍 Where: The SUP Co x Lymington, Haven Quay, Mill Lane, Lymington, SO41 9AZ
📅 When: Thursday 19th March 2026
🕒 Time: 1800 onwards
🍕 Food: Pizza + refreshments

What to expect

This is a relaxed, chatty evening — part product drop, part Q&A, part “talk gear with other riders”.

  • Duotone Foil Assist deep dive – what it is, how it works, and where it fits (wing / SUP / prone / downwind / parawing)
  • New + upcoming Duotone kit – what’s landing and what’s worth paying attention to next
  • Real answers – ask the questions you can’t get from an Instagram post
  • Pizza and good banter – because that’s how these evenings should be

Why the Duotone Foil Assist is the big talking point

The best way to describe it: this is aimed at riders who want more “good sessions” — more take-offs, more connections, more reps — without turning foiling into a totally different sport.

If you want to start exploring the wider category before the evening, these links are a good place to begin:

Who should come?

If any of this sounds like you, get it in the diary:

  • You wing foil and want more take-offs in marginal wind
  • You’re learning downwind paddle-ups and want more reps per session
  • You prone foil / surf foil and want longer links and a safety margin
  • You’re simply curious and want to understand the tech before spending money

How to join

We’ll be posting the Facebook Event shortly — once it’s live, please RSVP there so we can plan food and seating.
