HISC x The SUP Company Round Hayling Challenge 2026: What a Day!
A brilliant atmosphere, impressive performances and a watersports community turning out in force; plus records being smashed with an almighty circumnavigation of the 14 mile course in just over 43 minutes! The HISC x thesupco.com Round Hayling Challenge brought paddlers, wing foilers, windsurfers and rowers together on Saturday 12 September 2026 for a day worth celebrating.

From all of us at The SUP Company, a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Hayling Island Sailing Club. Whether you were chasing a time, taking on a personal challenge or cheering someone home, you helped make the event what it was.

The 2026 photos and results are now available, and there is already something to look forward to: entries for the 2027 Round Hayling Challenge are open, with 50% off the entry fee when you enter by Saturday 19 September 2026.
A Day That Brought Watersports Together
One of the real pleasures of the Round Hayling Challenge is seeing different watersports sharing the same event. Paddleboards, wings, windsurfing rigs and rowing boats might take different approaches to getting around Hayling, but the enthusiasm for being out on the water is shared.
This year delivered impressive efforts across the classes, with plenty to celebrate both on and off the water. Congratulations to everyone who took part, whatever your finishing position.

As a specialist watersports retailer, supporting events like this matters to us. Helping someone choose their equipment is one part of the picture; seeing people get out, use it and enjoy a challenge together is what brings it all to life.
A big thank you also goes to the HISC team and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the event happen. The work that goes into a day like this deserves plenty of appreciation.

Inspired to Set Yourself Another Challenge?
A day like Round Hayling can give you a clearer idea of what you want from your paddling or foiling. That might mean building your fitness, improving your technique or finding equipment better suited to the distances and conditions you enjoy.
If you are considering a different paddleboard or paddle, our Woodmill SUP Test Centre in Southampton gives you the opportunity to compare equipment on the water before deciding. Tell us what you currently use, what felt good and what you would like to improve, and we can help narrow down sensible options.
