Do I need the AXIS Doodad with this fuselage?
If you are using an AXIS aluminium mast, yes — you will need the AXIS Mast Adaptor Doodad in the correct size. If you are using an AXIS carbon mast, the doodad is not required.
What is the difference between AXIS Red Series and Black Series fuselages?
The Red Series is the more classic AXIS platform and is a very good choice for many compatible wings and general tuning of stability versus manoeuvrability. The Black Series is aimed more at higher-performance, thinner-profile AXIS wing families. If you are unsure which platform your wing belongs to, ask us before ordering and we will help you avoid buying the wrong part.
Will this fit every AXIS front wing?
No — compatibility matters within the AXIS ecosystem. The Red Series works with many AXIS wings, but not every wing family. If you are pairing this with HPS, ART or certain smaller BSC wings, you may need a different fuselage platform. We are always happy to sense-check a setup before you buy.
Is this a worthwhile upgrade if I already have an AXIS setup?
