It is a purpose-led design aimed at riders who want better projection, cleaner glide and more distance from every pump without the foil feeling overly technical or twitchy.

Within the Duotone foil line-up, the AMP sits as the dedicated pump and dock-start option. If your priority is the easiest possible lift and a very confidence-building feel, the Duotone Aero Lift SLS Foil Front Wing is the more forgiving route. If your basics are already solid and you want more speed, drive and mileage from each session, the AMP is the natural step forward.

It also sits differently to the Duotone Glide 2.0 D/LAB Foil Front Wing. The Glide leans more toward broad glide efficiency across multiple foiling disciplines, whereas the AMP feels more specialist and more pump-focused. Which AMP size should I choose?

If you want the easiest route into pump foiling and cleaner dock starts, the 2145 is the better place to begin. If your technique is already improving and you want more speed, lower drag and better mileage, the 1750 is the step up.

Is the AMP a good first pump foil?

The 2145 can absolutely work as an entry point for pump foiling. The 1750 is better suited to riders who already have some experience and are ready for a more efficient, performance-led feel.

Does the AMP only work for dock starts?

No. Dock starts and flatwater pumping are its main strengths, but it can also work for paddling-up basics in SUP downwind foiling and for heavier riders in small, slower bumps.

What rear stabiliser should I run with it?

For most riders, the best match is the Duotone Foil Rear Stabilizer H. The 1750 is recommended with the H185, while the 2145 is recommended with the H210.

Are screws included?

No, not by default. If you need them, add the Duotone front wing screw set at the same time so you have the correct M8x30 hardware ready to go.
