Description
Description
If dock starts, flatwater pump sessions, or towing behind a boat are your kind of foiling fun, the Duotone Strider SLS 2026 is purpose-built for it. It’s a compact, low-volume pump foil board with a high-end Carbon/PVC layup and a stiff, direct feel that makes pumping more efficient and touchdowns less “sticky”.
It’s also one of the few boards that genuinely makes dockstarting feel more achievable because the shape is short, light, and easy to handle—plus the thin rails give you a proper grip when you’re hanging off a pontoon.
Where it sits in the range
The Strider SLS isn’t a “small wing board” pretending to be a pump board. It’s a dedicated pump/dockstart shape with minimal swing weight, a flat rocker for projection, and a clean connection to the foil. If your main goal is pump foiling, it’s the right tool for the job.
If you’re shopping for a more general-purpose board for winging, downwind, or SUP foiling, this isn’t the one—think of the Strider as the specialist tool for maximising pump efficiency and dockstart success.
Why choose the Strider SLS 2026
- Stays flying longer: compact shape + low swing weight makes every pump count.
- Easier dock starts: thin, grippy rails are genuinely easier to hold and control.
- Efficient cadence: flat rocker helps you maintain speed and glide between pumps.
- Forgiving touchdowns: single concave-to-flat bottom helps reduce drag when you touch down.
- Proper SLS build: stiff Carbon/PVC construction for direct power transfer into the foil.

FAQs
Is the Strider SLS only for dockstarting?
No—dockstarting is the obvious use, but it’s also brilliant for flatwater pump sessions, towing (wake/tow foiling), and anyone who wants a compact board that feels ultra-direct and lively.
Will it work with my foil?
Most likely, yes. The Strider uses standard US foil tracks (long tracks), so it’s compatible with the majority of plate-mount foils on the market. If you tell us what foil you’re on, we’ll help you with a sensible starting mast position.
Is 14L too small?
It’s meant to be small. The volume is “just enough” to help you manage between attempts and to paddle it back in once you’ve dropped. If you’re expecting the stability of a wing board, this isn’t that—this is a dedicated pump tool.
What’s the biggest setup mistake with pump foiling?
Usually the foil choice and trim. A pump-friendly front wing and correct mast placement make a bigger difference than people expect, especially when you’re trying to improve glide and link longer runs.
