Is this a full eFoil?

No — it’s foil assist. You still ride and control it like a foil (wing, prone, SUP, downwind), but you can add power for take-offs, lulls, linking bumps, or getting back out without burning matches.

How long do the batteries last?

Think of it as session support rather than constant throttle. Most riders see roughly 35–55 minutes of assisted use per charge, with around 45 minutes being a very realistic benchmark depending on rider weight, foil size, speed and water state.

Can I fly with the batteries?

The packs are designed around the typical airline threshold (approx. 159.6Wh per battery), but rules vary by airline and destination. Always check your carrier’s current lithium battery policy and travel with batteries as required by the airline (usually carry-on, not checked luggage).

Which Midfish size should I choose?

If you want the simplest, calmest route to consistent take-offs, size up. If you’re lighter or you want a tighter, more performance feel once flying, size down. If you tell us your weight, ability, and sport, we’ll recommend the best match.

Which Glide 2.0 wing is best?

1100 is the safe all-rounder for most riders. 1350 is the “make it easy” option for light wind and heavier riders. 900 suits lighter riders and higher wind, or anyone prioritising speed and agility once up.

Will it work with other foil brands later?

Yes — the Foil Assist Mast AL is part of a modular ecosystem. With the right brand-specific adapter fuselages, riders often expand into other foil families as their quiver grows. If you already own a foil, message us your exact setup and we’ll confirm the cleanest compatibility route.

Is it suitable for beginners?

Foil assist makes learning easier because you get more take-off attempts and more time flying, but it’s still a high-speed sport. We recommend sensible safety kit (helmet, impact vest/wetsuit) and starting in appropriate conditions.
