The AXIS Advance+ B-Series Fuselages are for riders who want their foil to feel looser, more reactive and more connected through turns. Built around AXIS’ Black/B-Series platform, this is the more progressive fuselage choice for surf foiling, prone, SUP foiling, wake foiling and surf-style wing foiling where fast rail-to-rail response matters more than maximum straight-line tracking.
The key difference is the Advance+ geometry. Compared with a regular AXIS Black/B-Series fuselage, the mast position is moved forward towards the front wing, giving the foil a more lively, pivot-focused feel underfoot. In plain English, it helps the foil roll, carve and redirect more easily, which is exactly what experienced riders are often looking for once they start pushing harder in waves, bumps or tighter pocket riding.

Fuselage length has a big impact on how your foil feels. A longer fuselage generally gives more pitch stability, smoother tracking and a more settled ride. A shorter fuselage feels more reactive, easier to roll and quicker to redirect, but it will also demand more rider input and better control.

The AXIS Advance+ B-Series Fuselage is the next step if you want a surfier, more responsive setup and are happy to trade a little tracking stability for faster transitions and easier turning.
If you are riding bigger, wider-span high-aspect wings for pump, downwind or very light wind use, also look at the AXIS Advance+ FATTY Black Fuselages. The FATTY platform is aimed more at stiffness and load control for larger wings, whereas this B-Series Advance+ fuselage is the more surf-focused option for compatible Black/B-Series setups.

Who may not need it?
This is probably not the best first fuselage for a new foiler. The Advance+ layout is designed to make the foil feel more alive, which is brilliant once you want that, but less helpful if you are still trying to make the whole setup feel calm and predictable.

Compatibility notes
The AXIS Advance+ B-Series Fuselages are for AXIS Black/B-Series compatible foil setups. They are not the same as AXIS Red Series fuselages, and they are not interchangeable with Red Series-only front wings. If you are unsure whether your current AXIS front wing, mast or rear stabiliser is compatible, please contact us before ordering and we will help you check the right setup.

What is the difference between AXIS Black/B-Series and Advance+?
The standard AXIS Black/B-Series fuselage is the more all-round performance option, with a more familiar balance of speed, stability and control. The Advance+ version moves the mast position forward to create a looser, more surf-driven feel with quicker turning and faster rail-to-rail response.
Which AXIS Advance+ fuselage length should I choose?
If you want the safest step into Advance+ geometry, the 700mm Short or 640mm Ultrashort are usually the easiest places to start. If you are already riding shorter fuselages and want a much looser feel, the 600mm Crazyshort, 560mm Sillyshort or 520mm Psychoshort become more relevant.
Is the AXIS Advance+ B-Series Fuselage good for wing foiling?
Yes, but it is best for performance-focused or wave-orientated wing foilers rather than complete beginners. It makes the foil feel more manoeuvrable and connected in turns, but it will not track as calmly as a longer, more conventional fuselage.
Will this fit AXIS Red Series wings?
No. This is a Black/B-Series fuselage and should be used with compatible AXIS Black/B-Series front wings. If your front wing is Red Series-only, you will need an AXIS Red Series or Red Advance fuselage instead.
Should I go shorter than my current fuselage?
Often, yes. Because the Advance+ geometry changes the mast position and makes the setup feel more responsive, many riders choose a slightly shorter option than their usual standard fuselage length. If you are unsure, ask us and we can help match the length to your front wing, riding style and ability.
