Description
Description
The Waydoo EVO Pro Plus is the 90-litre choice for riders who want a more compact board for learning to turn and developing their eFoiling. It takes up less space underfoot than the Max Plus, while retaining an EPP foam board construction. Confident beginners can learn on it, but smaller board volume makes balancing before take-off more demanding.
Choose your configuration
The 27-inch mast is the shorter option and keeps your riding height closer to the water. The 35-inch mast gives more height to work with in chop and turns, but needs deeper water for launching and riding. Neither removes the need for clear water beneath the foil.
Battery capacity and realistic runtime
Choose between the 1,800Wh and 2,300Wh Waydoo Powerflight batteries. Wh means watt-hours: the energy stored in the battery, rather than the motor's power output. The 2,300Wh option holds approximately 28% more energy, making it the better choice when session length matters most.
| Battery | Expected runtime | Why choose it? |
|---|---|---|
| 1,800Wh | Around 80β90 minutes | A lighter battery for shorter sessions and easier handling ashore. |
| 2,300Wh | Around 2 hours | Longer sessions, with roughly 30β40 minutes more riding than the 1,800Wh option. |
These are The SUP Company's typical-use expectations for an approximately 85kg rider in average conditions, mixing normal cruising with take-offs and turns. They are a guide, not a guaranteed runtime or a continuous full-throttle figure. Rider weight, speed, foil choice, water conditions, repeated acceleration and battery condition all affect consumption. Allow a reserve for returning to your launch point.
Both lithium-ion Powerflight batteries have IP68-rated protection, built-in leak detection and an integrated display for checking battery information. The removable design lets you separate the battery from the board for handling and charging. Choose the charger with your package; charging time depends on battery capacity and charger specification.
See the Waydoo EVO battery options if you are planning a spare battery or a later capacity upgrade.
LiDAR and Smart Flight Assistance
The Plus board includes Waydoo's sensor-based Smart Flight Assistance. Its height sensor measures the board's distance above the water surface, and the system adjusts throttle to help steady your flight. This reduces the amount of fine correction needed as you learn to hold a consistent height.
Enable assistance through the remote and choose a low, medium or high flight-height setting. Manual mode remains available as your control improves. Waydoo recommends assistance in calm conditions; keep the sensor beneath the nose clean and unobstructed.
This is help with riding height, not underwater depth measurement or obstacle avoidance. You still control your balance, direction and riding decisions, and need clear water beneath the foil.
Read our Waydoo Flight Assist and LiDAR guide for the difference between assisted Plus boards and the unassisted EVO Lite.
Why choose the Pro Plus?
- 90 litres of board volume: a compact platform for progression.
- EPP foam board: a practical surface for regular handling and shared sessions.
- 6,000W maximum motor output: power available for take-off and acceleration, controlled through the remote.
- Selectable mast, battery and charger: choose around your riding and charging arrangements rather than headline speed.

Compare before choosing
Compare the 130-litre EVO Max Plus for extra buoyancy for learning. The 75-litre EVO Master is the more specialised option with a Kevlar board and carbon mast for confident riders. A larger board helps before flight and during touchdowns; once flying, balance depends on the foil, mast, speed and rider input.
Read our Waydoo EVO package comparison to work through the options, or review our finance options when planning your purchase.
If you are also considering foil assist, our Duotone Foil Cruise versus Waydoo eFoil comparison explains which route fits your longer-term riding plans.
Frequently asked questions
Which battery should I choose for longer sessions?
For an 85kg rider in average conditions and typical mixed use, allow around two hours with the 2,300Wh battery or around 80β90 minutes with the 1,800Wh battery. Choose the larger battery if maximising riding time is your priority; actual endurance varies with use, rider weight and conditions.
Will Flight Assist balance the board for me?
It helps steady flight height through automatic throttle adjustments. You still need to manage your stance and balance. On the Pro Plus, assistance complements a compact board for progression; on the Max Plus, it works alongside the larger platform's support before take-off.
Can I upgrade components later?
The EVO range is modular, but compatibility depends on the exact component and configuration. Ask us to check your existing board, mast, battery, propulsion unit and charger before ordering an upgrade.
Does a bigger battery make the board faster?
Battery capacity primarily changes the energy available for your session. Speed and handling also depend on the propulsion unit, foil, rider and conditions; choose capacity around session length and carrying weight.
