Description
Infinity EVERREADY 2027 – 14ft Team Elite Carbon Race SUP
The Infinity EVERREADY 2027 is an all-water dugout race paddleboard for training, distance events and technical racing across changing conditions. Available in 21", 22.5", 24" and 26" widths, it combines flat-water glide with responsive handling in chop and open-water bumps.
Designed by Dave Boehne, the 2027 shape retains the EVERREADY’s deep standing area and Tri-Plane hull while refining volume distribution, bottom contours, rails and nose outline. The aim is a more connected ride that responds readily to your input without losing its forgiving character.
What’s new for 2027?
- Reduced volume across every size: a refined profile for greater control and responsiveness.
- Revised bottom contours: designed to improve stability and acceleration.
- Reshaped rails: smoother release and improved initial stability.
- Narrower nose: reduced swing weight and improved glide efficiency.
Full size range and specifications
| Size | Volume | Maximum recommended rider weight |
|---|---|---|
| 14' × 21" | 276 litres | 86.1kg / 190lb |
| 14' × 22.5" | 288 litres | 95.2kg / 210lb |
| 14' × 24" | 310 litres | 99.7kg / 220lb |
| 14' × 26" | 336 litres | 113.3kg / 250lb |
The maximum recommended rider weights are sizing guidelines, not a guarantee of suitability. Your height, balance, technique and usual water conditions are equally important when choosing a width.
Which EVERREADY width should you choose?
14' × 21" – the narrowest option
We would suggest the 21" primarily to advanced racers who already paddle narrow boards confidently. Being within its rider-weight recommendation is only the first consideration: you should also be comfortable applying power, changing stance and recovering your balance in race conditions.
If you spend much of a session bracing or shortening your stroke to stay upright, a wider option is likely to let you paddle more effectively. Assess this size when tired as well as when fresh.
14' × 22.5" – for experienced race-board paddlers
The 22.5" is worth considering if you want a narrow racing platform with more width than the 21". It is a logical comparison for someone already comfortable on a similarly sized board, or an experienced paddler considering a measured step down in width.
Think about your most demanding regular conditions. A board that feels comfortable on a sheltered river may require considerably more concentration in side chop or at a crowded race start.
14' × 24" – a practical comparison point for mixed conditions
We would use the 24" as a starting point for capable paddlers balancing racing ambitions with everyday training. Compare it with the 22.5" if you are confident on narrow boards, or with the 26" if maintaining technique in unsettled water is your priority.
For longer events, the useful question is whether you can keep your legs relaxed and your stroke consistent throughout the session. Small gains in confidence can matter more than choosing a narrower outline.
14' × 26" – the widest option
The 26" deserves consideration from larger paddlers and anyone seeking more width for distance training or variable water. It may also be the most sensible starting point within this range for an experienced touring paddler moving into dugout race boards.
It remains a narrow performance board compared with many recreational SUPs. Allow time to adapt, particularly when practising step-back turns and getting back aboard after a fall.
Deep dugout deck
The recessed deck lowers your centre of gravity to support balance and control. When comparing boards, check how naturally you can move within the cockpit, step towards the tail and return to your normal stance. Comfortable footwork is just as valuable as straight-line stability.
Team Elite Carbon construction
A full PVC sandwich, stringerless EPS core and high-modulus carbon layup form the construction. The finish includes water-resistant CNC-cut traction and a lightweight carbon fin. The 2027 colourway is Orange Swell.
Choosing the right board for your sessions
Start with the paddling you do most often. For racing, consider the course length, likely water state and how much moving around the board is involved. For fitness paddling, prioritise a width that lets you maintain an effective stroke without constant balance corrections.
A race board can be rewarding without entering competitions, but it should still suit your practical needs. If carrying luggage, relaxed family outings or compact storage are priorities, compare touring and inflatable options before committing to a 14ft composite SUP.

Paddle choice, transport and setup
Check your paddle length from the dugout standing position. If you are moving from a thick inflatable, your existing setting may feel different. An adjustable paddle can help establish a comfortable length before you commit to a fixed shaft.
For distance paddling, choose a blade you can use comfortably at your intended cadence. A larger blade is not automatically a faster choice if it makes maintaining your technique harder towards the end of a session.
Plan storage and transport around the board’s full length. A correctly fitting protective bag and suitable roof-rack padding help protect a composite board during everyday handling.
Get help choosing your width
Tell The SUP Company your height, weight, current board, experience and usual paddling conditions so we can help narrow down the options. If you would like to compare boards on the water, explore our Woodmill SUP Test Centre and ask which suitable demo sizes are available.
Frequently asked questions
Should I choose a width based only on my weight?
No. Use the weight guidance alongside your balance, height, experience and local conditions. Being below a size’s maximum recommended rider weight does not necessarily make that width the best choice.
Is the narrowest board always the fastest choice?
No. If you regularly interrupt your stroke to brace, you may paddle more efficiently on a wider board. Choose the width that allows you to apply power consistently over your intended distance.
Can I use the EVERREADY for fitness paddling without racing?
Yes. Choose your width for the sessions you actually enjoy, with enough stability to maintain good technique. There is little benefit in selecting an unnecessarily demanding size for everyday training.
What should I assess during a demo?
Check normal paddling, stronger efforts, stance changes and turns appropriate to your ability. Notice whether you can relax your legs and maintain your stroke. Ask about practising remounting safely, and account for the difference between sheltered demo water and your usual paddling location.
Can I keep using my existing paddle?
Potentially. Check its length and comfort from the dugout stance before replacing it. Consider a change only if its weight, fit or blade size is limiting your paddling.
