Description

Infinity EVERREADY 14'0 Team Elite Carbon Race SUP

The Infinity EVERREADY is a fast, versatile dugout race board built for paddlers who do not want their performance limited to one water state. It combines efficient flat-water glide with the rocker, control and secondary stability needed for technical racing, coastal chop, upwind sections, downwind bumps and longer-distance events.

Designed by Dave Boehne with input from Infinity’s international race team, the EVERREADY replaces the Blackfish Dugout as Infinity’s modern all-water race platform. Its narrower waterline, deep standing area and distinctive Tri-Plane hull help it accelerate quickly and hold speed, while retaining the playful, responsive character for which Infinity race boards are known.

This is not simply a board for elite competition. In the right width, it is also an excellent choice for experienced recreational paddlers who want a premium hard board for fast touring, fitness training and covering longer distances efficiently.

Why choose the Infinity EVERREADY?

  • One race board for mixed conditions: quick enough for flat-water racing but sufficiently controlled for chop, swell, side wind and technical courses.
  • Fast acceleration: the narrow central planing surface and efficient nose help the board get moving quickly from race starts, buoy turns and changes of pace.
  • Excellent glide: the refined outline and clean tail release help the EVERREADY carry speed between strokes.
  • Low, stable paddling position: the deep dugout lowers your centre of gravity, helping you apply power more confidently and conserve energy over longer distances.
  • Responsive handling: the Tri-Plane hull and narrow tail make the board easy to foot-steer, trim and move around technical courses.
  • Premium carbon construction: Infinity’s Team Elite Carbon build delivers the stiffness, low weight and immediate response expected from a serious race board.

Choosing your EVERREADY width

The fastest size is not automatically the narrowest one. A race board only performs properly when you are stable enough to maintain an effective stroke, move around the cockpit and continue applying power as conditions deteriorate.

Size Volume Board weight Best suited to
14'0" x 22.5" 293 litres Approximately 10.79kg Advanced racers with strong balance who want maximum speed without moving to the specialist 21" size.
14'0" x 24" 320 litres Approximately 11.79kg Experienced racers and fast recreational paddlers seeking a strong balance of pace, stability and mixed-water usability.
14'0" x 26" 349 litres Approximately 11.97kg Larger paddlers, newcomers to dugout race boards or anyone prioritising confidence in coastal chop and longer-distance events.

Our practical advice: choose the 22.5" if you already paddle narrow race boards confidently and can maintain your technique in unsettled water. The 24" will be the performance sweet spot for many capable UK racers. Choose the 26" if stability will allow you to paddle harder, race for longer and spend less time making corrective strokes.

Tri-Plane hull

The EVERREADY’s Tri-Plane bottom shape uses angled outer sections around a narrower central planing surface. This reduces the effective wetted area through the middle of the board, helping it accelerate and glide efficiently without making it feel excessively nervous.

The angled sections also provide additional control when edging or foot-steering the board. Soft forward edges encourage a smooth, quiet glide, while harder edges around the fin box help the tail release cleanly and respond positively during buoy turns.

Nose and rocker designed for real conditions

The EVERREADY’s nose is narrower than the Blackfish but fuller than the flat-water-focused Whiplash. That gives it an effective balance between clean entry, acceleration and usable stability.

Additional nose height and a refined rocker line help the board retain momentum into chop rather than repeatedly burying or slowing down. The same rocker makes it easier to connect bumps, draft other paddlers and recover when the nose meets broken or confused water.

Deep dugout stability

Tall sidewalls allow Infinity to position the standing area close to the waterline. Lowering your feet reduces the leverage your body has over the board, producing a more settled and connected sensation than the overall width alone might suggest.

The wider section of the outline is carried forward of the normal standing position. This provides useful secondary stability when driving through the paddle, negotiating side chop or dealing with wash at a busy race start. It also helps reduce unnecessary movement through your legs during longer sessions.

Technical racing and buoy turns

A narrower tail helps the board release efficiently and makes it easier to sink during step-back turns. The cockpit-to-tail transition has been shaped to make moving rearwards feel natural, allowing confident paddlers to lift the nose, rotate quickly and accelerate away from the buoy.

Multiple carrying handles around the rails and forward deck make the board easier to manage during beach starts, portages and everyday loading.

Fast cockpit drainage

Two carbon side drains and a central drain clear water from the recessed cockpit after punching through chop or surf. The shaped transition towards the tail also helps limit water entering the standing area as you move around the board.

A purpose-designed EVA traction pad provides grip for powerful paddling and step-back turns while adding useful comfort during long-distance training and racing.

Team Elite Carbon construction

The EVERREADY uses Infinity’s premium carbon-moulded sandwich construction. A lightweight EPS core is enclosed within a full PVC shell and wrapped in carbon fibre, with additional fibreglass reinforcement where required. High-density inserts reinforce the fin box, handles and other fittings.

The result is a stiff and responsive platform that transfers paddle power efficiently, accelerates cleanly and remains impressively light for a high-volume dugout race board. As with any premium carbon SUP, we recommend transporting and storing it in a suitable composite paddleboard bag.

Where the EVERREADY sits in the Infinity range

The EVERREADY is the modern dugout choice for racers wanting genuine all-water versatility. It sits between Infinity’s established all-water and specialist flat-water directions:

  • Choose the Infinity EVERREADY for a low dugout stance, rapid acceleration and versatile performance across flat and moving water.
  • Consider the Infinity Blackfish Flat Deck if you prefer a more open deck and the freedom to move around without deep cockpit walls.
  • Consider the Infinity Whiplash Hollow Dugout if your priority is specialist flat-water speed and you are comfortable with a more committed race design.

You can also explore our complete Infinity SUP range or compare other race paddleboards.

Who is the EVERREADY for?

The EVERREADY is best suited to intermediate through elite paddlers who want to race, train or tour quickly on a premium composite board. It is particularly relevant for UK racing, where a single course can involve sheltered flat water, wind chop, tide, boat wash and technical turns.

It may not be the right choice if you are completely new to paddleboarding, need a board that is easy to transport or want maximum stability for relaxed family use. For those requirements, a wider touring board or performance inflatable will usually be easier to own and paddle.

Complete your setup

A board at this level deserves a properly matched paddle. A lightweight race paddle such as the Infinity performance paddle range will help improve cadence, catch and efficiency. You may also want to consider a suitable SUP leash, race fin, board bag and rail protection.

If you are deciding between widths, arrange a comparison through our Woodmill SUP Test Centre. Testing a race board is the most reliable way to establish whether a narrower size will genuinely make you faster.

Infinity EVERREADY FAQs

Is the Infinity EVERREADY a flat-water or all-water race board?

It is an all-water race board with enough efficiency to remain genuinely competitive on flat water. Its rocker, raised nose, secondary stability and responsive tail also make it suitable for chop, technical courses, open-water racing and downwind bumps.

Which EVERREADY width should I choose?

The 22.5" suits advanced paddlers with established race-board balance. The 24" provides an excellent combination of speed and usable stability for experienced paddlers. The 26" is the most accessible option and will often be faster in real conditions for larger paddlers or anyone who loses power when the water becomes unsettled.

Is the 26" EVERREADY still a proper race board?

Yes. It uses the same performance-led hull concept and premium construction as the narrower sizes. Its additional width and volume simply provide more stability, allowing a wider range of paddlers to maintain an effective stroke and race pace.

How does the EVERREADY compare with the Blackfish?

The EVERREADY replaces the former Blackfish Dugout and introduces a narrower, more efficient nose, updated rocker, Tri-Plane bottom and deeper standing area. The current Blackfish Flat Deck offers a more open deck layout, while the EVERREADY provides the lower and more locked-in feeling of a full dugout.

Can the EVERREADY be used for fast touring?

Yes. Its glide, stability and high volume make it an excellent fast-distance board for experienced paddlers. The dugout cockpit is particularly useful when covering longer distances in mixed conditions, although its carbon construction requires more careful handling than an inflatable touring SUP.

Is a paddle included?

A paddle is not included. We recommend pairing the EVERREADY with a lightweight fixed-length race paddle selected around your height, strength and preferred cadence.

Can I try the Infinity EVERREADY before buying?

Where suitable demo stock is available, yes. Visit our SUP Test Centre at Woodmill or contact The SUP Company with your weight, current board, experience and usual paddling conditions so we can help you select the correct width.
