As for returns; we will happily refund an item purchased from The SUP Company if returned to us within 30 days; excluding gift vouchers and customised products, except when faulty. Returned goods must be unused and supplied in their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty.

The AXIS Blast is a fast, narrow mid-length foil board built for riders who want earlier take-offs, more glide and a “locked-in” feel once flying. If you’re chasing more efficient winging in lighter winds, or you simply want a board that carries speed through tacks, gybes and touchdowns, the Blast is a seriously good step up.
It’s also Foil Drive approved, with a longer track system for tuning balance—ideal if you’re building a board that can handle everything from pure wing sessions to assisted starts and longer missions.

Where the Blast sits in the range
Compared to shorter, wider wing boards: the Blast has a longer waterline and a slimmer outline, so it builds board speed more easily and feels calmer at pace—especially when you’re underpowered or riding higher-aspect foils.
Compared to full downwind shapes: it keeps things practical for everyday winging—easy to handle on the beach, stable once trimmed, and still quick to release and fly.

Is the AXIS Blast a good choice for lighter winds?
Yes—this is exactly where mid-length shapes shine. The longer waterline and narrow outline help you generate board speed more easily, which means earlier lift and less “sticky” acceleration in marginal conditions.
What volume should I choose?
As a simple starting point: beginners often prefer 20–40L above bodyweight (kg) for easier uphauling and stability, intermediates often sit around bodyweight, and advanced riders can drop below for a smaller, more reactive feel. If you tell us your height, weight, wing size and foil front wing, we’ll point you to the sweet spot.
Does it work with Foil Drive?
Yes—the Blast is Foil Drive approved, and the longer track system makes it easier to dial trim when you change foils or add assist. If you’re building an assisted setup, browse our Foil Assist collection and we’ll help you match hardware and mast position.
Which foils pair well with the Blast?
It’s a great platform for higher-aspect wings that like a touch more take-off speed and reward you with glide. AXIS specifically highlight the Fireball and ART v2 ranges. If you already have a foil, we’ll help you tune mast position and stabiliser choice.
