The AXIS ART V2 Front Wings are for riders who want real glide, speed and efficiency, but without stepping onto a foil that feels overly specialist or hard work in everyday conditions. In the AXIS range, the ART V2 sits neatly between the more surfy AXIS Spitfire Front Wings and the more glide-focused AXIS ART PRO Front Wings.
That makes it a seriously smart choice for wingfoilers who want one front wing family that can cover a lot of ground. The ART V2 gives you the carry and speed you would expect from a higher aspect design, but with a more natural turning feel than a pure glide-focused foil. For many UK riders, that balance is exactly what makes it so appealing.
Where the ART V2 sits in the AXIS range
If you love the idea of the Spitfire but want more glide, better carry through lulls and a higher top end, the ART V2 is the natural step up. If you are looking at the ART PRO but want something that feels a touch looser, easier to turn and more forgiving day to day, the ART V2 often makes more sense.
In simple terms, this is the high-aspect AXIS front wing for riders who want a foil that feels quick and efficient, but still fun and usable across a wide range of disciplines. - 819 – the smallest and most lively in the range; best suited to lighter riders, stronger winds, faster winging, freestyle, prone and high-energy sessions.
- 879 – quick and loose, with a nice balance of speed and manoeuvrability for experienced riders.
- 939 – a very strong all-round performance size for a lot of wingfoilers wanting one foil to do plenty.
- 999 – more support, more glide and an easier low end; a great choice for lighter winds or riders wanting extra carry.
- 1099 – the easiest size in the lineup for light wind winging, small bumps, SUP/downwind crossover, Foil Drive and controlled wake use.

Is the AXIS ART V2 better for wingfoiling than the Spitfire?
Not better for everyone, but definitely faster and more efficient. If your priority is extra glide, better carry and a higher performance ceiling, the ART V2 is the step up. If you want the loosest, most surfy and easiest carving feel, the Spitfire still has a strong case.
Is the ART V2 easier to ride than the ART PRO?
For many riders, yes. The ART V2 still gives you plenty of glide and speed, but it feels more rounded and less demanding than a purer high-aspect design. That makes it a very good choice if you want performance without going too specialist.
Which ART V2 size should I choose?
That depends on your weight, board, discipline and what you want the foil to feel like. Larger sizes bring easier lift and more support. Smaller sizes bring more speed and agility.
