Description
The Black Project FoilX Paddle Blade is the blade-only option for paddlers building or replacing a foil-specific paddle setup. It is aimed at SUP foiling, downwind foiling, foil surf use and flat-water foiling where quick take-off power and a fast follow-up cadence matter far more than traditional SUP race feel.
Compared with a normal SUP paddle blade, the FoilX shape is shorter, lower aspect and deliberately tuned for powerful early engagement and faster repeat strokes. That makes it especially useful when you are trying to get up on foil efficiently and keep momentum alive between bumps or sections.

Who is the FoilX blade best for?
It is best for paddlers building or replacing a dedicated foil paddle. If your focus is getting onto foil quickly and keeping cadence high, this is a much better fit than a normal touring or race blade.
Can I use a standard SUP blade for foiling instead?
You can, but the FoilX exists because a foil-specific blade generally feels better for take-off power, quick repeat strokes and the stop-start demands of foiling.
Is this a complete paddle?
No. This product is the blade only and is intended for replacement use or a custom foil paddle build.
