  • Foil Assist Mast AL 84cm with integrated motor pod and folding prop
  • Midfish foilboard in three sizes to suit different rider weights and levels
  • Choice of Glide 2.0 front wing: 900 / 1100 / 1350cm²
  • eHarness sizing options:
  • S–M: approx. 71–89 cm / 28″–35″
  • L–XXL: approx. 89–114 cm / 35″–45″
  • Real-world runtime around 45 minutes per charge (roughly 35–55 minutes depending on rider, foil and speed)
  • Two compact 7Ah (~159.6Wh) batteries with Smart Charger, plus eRemote Watch Ring

The Duotone Foil Assist Set Complete AL is the simplest way to step straight into the Foil Assist world with a setup that just works. You get a matched Midfish board, a Glide 2.0 front wing, the Foil Assist Mast AL, batteries, eHarness, remote and charger – everything designed to work together from day one.

The motor is built into the 84cm aluminium mast, and the two 7Ah batteries sit in the eHarness around your waist, so your board stays light and responsive. You ride a proper foilboard with your front wing of choice, and simply call on the assist when you need it: to get up in marginal wind, save sketchy take-offs, link more waves or cruise back upwind.

The only decisions you need to make are:

  • Which Midfish size suits you best
  • Which Glide 2.0 wing fits your style
  • Which eHarness size fits your waist

The sections below walk you through that.

1. Choosing your Midfish board size
All three Midfish sizes are designed around the Foil Assist, but offer different levels of volume and forgiveness.

Midfish 5'2" – approx. 38L
Ideal for:

  • Riders roughly 60–80kg who already foil confidently
  • Riders who enjoy a more compact, lively board
  • Prone/downwind specialists and wing foilers who like a sportier feel
  • Character: Fast, agile and reactive; less margin if you’re still building basic balance.

Midfish 5'5" – approx. 48L
Ideal for:

  • Riders roughly 65–90kg looking for a true do-it-all board
  • Intermediate wing foilers and confident improvers
  • Prone/downwind riders wanting glide and forgiveness without going big
  • Character: The sweet spot – still compact and playful, but noticeably easier to manage than the 5'2".

Midfish 5'8" – approx. 58L

Ideal for:

  • Riders roughly 75–100kg+
  • Cautious improvers stepping down from large beginner boards
  • Light-wind wing sessions where extra float to slog home is reassuring
  • Character: The most forgiving option – easy take-offs, stable touchdowns and relaxed cruising.

Quick rule of thumb:

  • Already a confident foiler and like small boards? → 5'2"
  • Want one board to do everything, with progression built in? → 5'5"
  • Want maximum ease and stability? → 5'8"

2. Choosing your Glide 2.0 front wing
Each package pairs a Midfish with one of three Glide 2.0 wings. The trade-off is simple: smaller = faster/more agile, bigger = earlier lift/more forgiving.

Glide 900
For: Advanced or ambitious riders who already foil well.
Feel:

  • Higher top speed
  • Tighter carves
  • Needs a little more speed and input to get going
  • Best matched with: Midfish 5'2" for a sporty, performance-focused combo.

Glide 1100

For: Most riders – a genuine all-round choice.
Feel:

  • Early lift and easy take-off
  • Great glide without feeling slow or draggy
  • Happy cruising or being pushed harder as skills grow
  • Best matched with: Midfish 5'5" as the all-round “gets it right” package.

Glide 1350
For: Heavier riders, nervous improvers and those who love low-speed cruising.
Feel:

  • Very early lift and low take-off speed
  • Super steady at slower speeds – great for learning pitch control
  • Loves being ridden a touch slower and more efficiently
  • Best matched with: Midfish 5'8" for the easiest, most confidence-inspiring setup.

If in doubt:

Not sure where you sit? The Glide 1100 is usually the safest starting point – it supports progression in both directions (faster and more technical or easier and cruisier).

3. Choosing your eHarness size
The eHarness holds both batteries and needs to fit snugly and comfortably around your waist/hips (over your wetsuit).

S–M: approx. 71–89 cm / 28″–35″
Slimmer riders, teens, smaller adults and most summer-suit setups.

L–XXL: approx. 89–114 cm / 35″–45″
Broader waists, thicker winter wetsuits or anyone who prefers more wrap and padding.

Measure around where the harness will sit, wearing the wetsuit you normally foil in. If you’re on the borderline or mainly use thick winter gear, L–XXL is usually the better call.

Battery runtime & riding style
This package uses the same battery system as the standalone Foil Assist AL set:

Two 7Ah LIHV batteries, each around 159.6Wh, used together.

Average assist time is roughly 45 minutes, with most riders seeing between 35–55 minutes depending on:

  • Rider weight
  • Glide wing size (900 / 1100 / 1350)
  • Typical speed and power setting

Ride faster on smaller wings and use full power a lot, and you’ll sit nearer the lower end. Cruise at moderate speeds on larger wings and you’ll be closer to the upper end. The included Smart Charger typically takes around 45 minutes to bring a set back from low charge.

What’s in the box
Each Duotone Foil Assist Set Complete AL includes:

  • Midfish foilboard in chosen size (5'2" / 5'5" / 5'8")
  • Glide 2.0 front wing (900 / 1100 / 1350, depending on package)
  • AL 66 3BS fuselage
  • Adapter Fuselage – Duotone, to connect Glide to the Assist mast
  • Foil Assist Mast AL 84 cm with integrated motor pod and folding prop, plus mast and motor covers
  • Mounting hardware and tools
  • Cable & leash, plus cable fastener V and cable fasteners to route the harness cable cleanly
  • Spare propeller blades
  • eHarness Set (S–M or L–XXL as selected)
  • eRemote Watch Ring Set
  • Battery Charger Set (Smart Charger)
  • 2 × 7Ah batteries and padded battery bag

Compatibility & future upgrades
Although this package is set up around Midfish + Glide 2.0, the Foil Assist Mast AL is part of a much bigger modular system. With the relevant adapter fuselages you can later plug in foils from:

  • Axis
  • Lift
  • F-One
  • North
  • Code
  • Gong
  • Sabfoil
  • AFS
  • KT
  • And of course other Duotone foils

So you can start with this complete Duotone package, then expand into multi-brand setups as your quiver grows.

Who this package is for
This complete set is ideal if you:

  • Want a turnkey solution – everything matched and ready to ride.
  • Prefer one brand, one system to start with, rather than mixing components.
  • Already foil (or are close) and want electric assist to open more sessions and unlock smaller boards/wings.
  • Like the idea of a package that gets you out riding straight away, while still leaving room to customise later.

Why buy from The SUP Company
We’re riding Foil Assist + Midfish + Glide ourselves, in the same kind of ragged, real-world conditions you’ll be using it in. When you buy from The SUP Company, we can:

  • Talk through your height, weight, experience and local spot to suggest the best Midfish and Glide combination.
  • Help you choose the right eHarness size so it’s comfortable from the first session.
  • Map out a progression path – from this complete set into extra wings or adapter fuselages for Axis, Lift, F-One, North, Code, Gong, Sabfoil, AFS or KT.
  • Offer demo and test options so you can feel the differences between the setups before committing, where possible.
