The Duotone Aero Free SLS Foil Front Wing is the all-rounder in the Duotone foil range for riders who want one front wing that can cover a lot of ground without feeling bland or limiting. It is a front wing that makes sense for wingfoiling first and foremost, but it also crosses over well into prone, SUP and windsurf foiling when you want a setup that balances early lift, smooth glide, predictable pitch control and enough manoeuvrability to keep things fun.

If you are trying to avoid buying the wrong foil personality, this is the safe middle ground. The Aero Free SLS is not the absolute easiest beginner-only option in the range, and it is not the most glide-focused specialist either. What it does brilliantly is give you a balanced, confidence-building feel that still has enough speed, pump and carving ability to stay interesting as your riding improves.

Front wing hardware guidance: 800 and 1000 sizes use a shorter bolt requirement at the front on aluminium fuselages, 1250 sits in the middle, and 1500 / 1750 / 2000 use the longer front bolt requirement on carbon fuselages. If you are unsure which screws you need for your mast and fuselage combination, get in touch before ordering rather than guessing.

Compatibility: This front wing is listed to work with current Duotone AL (M8), AL 3BS and Fanatic AL / Carbon fuselage platforms. If you are mixing generations or building from existing foil parts, it is worth checking your exact setup before buying.

Is the Aero Free SLS a good choice for beginners?
