A superb opportunity to pick up Duotone's premium Crest 1050 D/LAB at a substantial saving over new. This ex-demo foil is in really good condition, with only minor cosmetic scratches from normal use, as shown in the photographs.
The 1050 is one of the most accessible sizes in the Crest range, combining useful low-end lift with the speed, glide and responsive carving that makes the Crest such a versatile surf-orientated foil. It is particularly well suited to wing foiling, freefly, prone, parawing and foil-assist use.

Why choose the Crest 1050 D/LAB?
At 1050cm², this is a particularly useful Crest for riders who want more support and an easier take-off than the smaller 800 and 925 sizes without moving to a slow or overly lift-focused foil. Once flying, its relatively high-aspect shape provides efficient glide and pumping while remaining lively enough to carve and follow swell.
The upturned wing tips help give the Crest its smooth, progressive turning behaviour and make it more forgiving when a tip briefly breaches the surface. For foil-assist riders, the combination of efficient pumping, glide and manageable low-speed behaviour makes the 1050 an especially versatile choice.

Who is the 1050 for?
We would choose the 1050 for riders prioritising easier lift, glide and wave connection while still wanting a foil that feels genuinely quick and responsive. More experienced or lighter riders looking for a faster, looser foil for powered conditions may prefer one of the smaller Crest sizes.
Is this foil new?
No. This is an ex-demo foil which has been used on the water. It remains in really good condition but does have minor scratches and cosmetic marks, all consistent with normal use.
Is the 1050 suitable for foil assist?
Yes. The Crest range is designed with foil-assist use in mind, and the 1050 is particularly attractive where efficient take-off, pumping and glide are important.
How does the 1050 compare with the smaller Crest sizes?
The 1050 provides more lift and easier low-speed support than the 925, 800 and 675. The smaller sizes become progressively faster and more reactive, while the 1050 is the better choice when you want additional lift without giving up the Crest's carving and glide characteristics.
